Off tune?? You need to have your ears checked. Not a lot of expression? This is one of the very few videos on cello playing that has been expressive. Every musician I know of makes mistakes in their performance.

Of course, though a solist sounds makes me very calm and give me expressivo, acompanists of only cellists are also very nice. Usually only cello's acompaniments are noisy, but your arrangement and performance may be better than 12 Berlin Philharmonische cellisten !!
The conductor is so unneeded .. there are only a handful of cellos, the essence of chamber music. At least the soloist is appropriately ignoring the conductor!

for the most part it pretty good and neat to listen to with all the parts together.......but there are some parts with questionable tuning and a few sour chords
Dear friend, thank you so much for your comment. Actually, I know some parts were a little out of tune, but probably it´s because we just had one rehearsal that was about one hour before the performance. anyway, thanks again.

Hi Lau or Arqmar? Oh, that's a Montagnana, albeit a copy, still it makes a superb sound. My son plays the cello (China made one) at university but only as a hobby. But I love the cello(and violin too)and regard Casal's Bach Suites; Jq du Pre's Elgar and YoYo Ma's (and Feuermann's) Dvorak cello cnrti as my favourites. By the way, are you all Spanish? sd goh (Malaysia)

Maybe she has taken slight liberties with the melody because that is a common way of Orthodox Jews in singing holy pieces.

Off tune?? You need to have your ears checked. Not a lot of expression? This is one of the very few videos on cello playing that has been expressive. Every musician I know of makes mistakes in their performance.
