  • Thoroughly enjoyed watching. Thank you.

  • you may need to type the necessary web link and then type the strong delusion.com extension for this to work or go to my site The Strong Delusion and look for the video on the front page labeled

Know your enemy a necessary premise.

  • one more necessary point....put the internet preface to watch a short video ....the strong delusion.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1820&Itemid=9

  • This video is a very good primer to this topic .....many people like to talk of truth...few will go to the trouble and time to find it...... secularist like to think only they hold the keys to truth....what they fail to recognize is there are Truth's and then there is Truth......

  • As a continuation God also says...Don't be misled--you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.Galatians 6:7 now for some good news.John 3:16 says For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. So the bible further states most who hear this message will mock it because the fallen angel Satan has successfully deceived them into believing his lie.So choose whom you will believe.

  • So seems the question on this issue is who do you believe, some mock and are sure there is no after life or judgement, however when you consider the reality of life, one has to ask how did it come to be, Scripture says In the beginning God Created the Heavens and the earth, he placed man on it and gave him dominion of it, with instructions, he also said he created other life forms, they also dwell in the heavens, So God says the Fool has said in his heart there is no god, I choose to believe God

  • intelligence is sexy

  • For those who will consider a biblical answer to this young ladies questions....this link may help begin a dialog that will open up our understanding of the issues........you will need to copy and paste this link.....Thank You...... Ufos a Biblical explanation Part 1 add the necessary preface to make the link work youtube will not allow it to be placed here. godtube.com/watch/?v=JEB2MNNU

  • @nahum1943 I think we all know god is fake guy. It's still cute you believe though. I don't knock you. You among millions in the world.

  • @FortuneGranted3000 Why do you believe that? Can you distinguish between good and Evil?.....Are you willing just to eat be merry and die are you sure there is no judgement? you can believe as you choose...but Scripture tells us the outcome of that choice is eternal separation from a God who sent his son to die in our place for our heredity sin nature....my sincere hope is you will not short change yourself, but look a little closer into what your creator has done on your behalf.....best wishes

  • @nahum1943 lmao guy listen to yourself. You speak via book and writings on walls. You never met him or know anyone who met him. It is possible you can meet me. We can have a beer talk, you can tell me I stink or smell good, you can see me with your eyes and hear my voice. Find someone who has done the same with god. I simply believe in life. Not fiction.

  • @FortuneGranted3000 I realize this is hard for those who like physical proof, but look around you, the earth is filled with proof that there are wages for our actions, so through that process we can evaluate, determine if the communication that God gave us through his writings can help us choose who we will follow, God uses faith, Love, to allow us to come into relationship with him, he revealed himself 2000 year ago in the flesh some men heard him some did not they rejected him ...it happens

  • @FortuneGranted3000 as a followup, we all have times in our lives when we need to read or follow instructions for our betterment The bible is a history and philosophy book it shows us our beginnings as a people and reveals what happened after our parents put us in a bad place it goes to great lengths to show our sin and need of redemption I would encourage you to study it closely before writing it off learn for yourself do not allow someone else to debunk it for you please check my site for more

  • @nahum1943 Not at all. No one debunk the bible for me. I read it and threw it away myself. I did like Luke. And the revelations is a good creepy story that makes ya skin crawl or have little nightmares which is cool (only because I like horror stories) However, just like no one made me an atheist, no one can make me believe either. I can read new literature because that is the way I am. I love to learn. Even if it is about god that does not exist. It's good to see how fare humans need to come.

  • @FortuneGranted3000 Well it seems you think you are in control of your limited life.

For me I am so glad that the creator of all things has revealed himself to me and given me the option of eternal life rather than just this short miserable experience...I have known atheist who have come to believe....my sincere hope is you will be granted the same privilege before your passing. best wishes.

  • @nahum1943 Lol thanks. I can't wait for us to play in the afterlife. I won't hold this against you. I'll seek you.

  • yes and those aliens problay believe they are uniek to. WIth there own god and bla bla bla

  • Lets see if you are really interested in sharing differing views respectfully........

This may fill in some blanks for you....it is on my site because of limited space here....the strong delusion.com......Days of Noah....

  • You have some major problems with your suppositions. First, the quantity of earth like planets is irrelevant, given that we have never observed evolution actually take place. Macro-evolution is a dead theory that only the dumbest of atheist cling to like a life preserver in an ocean of Creation.

Evolution is simply a poor theory and so-called alien Contactees usually realize the {aliens} are actually malevolent deceptive agents, which are demonic in nature.

    Peace to you.

  • @Isaiah122 Your comment is extremely hilarious. It made my day. Thanks for the laugh.

  • Listening to some of your ramblings makes me wonder if you are what you are because of bad parenting or you are what you are because of Rebellion against good parenting....it is obvious your mocking of Isaiah122 shows you are not interested in real dialog....so young and so foolish.....

  • @nahum1943 She's not foolish at all. What is foolish is Christianity. And I'll say that with respect. And god is some selfish child who if you don't give him attention he gets mad and punish you. So the likelihood of there being life on other planets is high and a logical prediction. This woman done her research and is simply talking very clearly about her point of view, and she happens to have a very cute face so I didn't miss a beat of what she was saying :)

  • @FortuneGranted3000 ....thank you for your response...God may seem selfish.....but to me it what you are saying is something like a child saying to a parent you are foolish... Mom/Dad...because I don't like the rules of the house and me and my friends think you are not worth listening to because we just learned how to pull up our pants and comb our hair and that makes us smarter then you.....so this begins our difference of opinion.... The heavens are inhabited ...God himself says so.

  • @nahum1943 But you never met god, and if you did I want to meet you and bring him with you as well. No it's not anything like mom/dad I don't like the rules you're not worth listening to. It's more like a rich kid that thinks the world revolves around him and if you don't comply you get fed to sharks and lose your job so you can't pay rent. lol. Humans create such complex things from movies to imaginary super beings. When a human believes in something things tend to happen. Maybe we're the gods

  • @FortuneGranted3000 actually I have met God spiritually, I was dying and lost in the reasoning of this world with all of its destructive ways I have learned that he loves me deeply and only wants to have a close and loving relationship with his creation, as creator I believe he has a right to dictate what is best for his creation, if every one does what they think is right in their own eyes you will get the mess we have today, I will try to reveal him to you through reasoning..thanks again

  • @fruitikay Your questions have merit and scripture does address them, yes the heavens are inhabited Rev.Chp 12 verse 12 says so along with many other references Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Space is limited here my site has many answers for you, but it will take some explaining as you probably know.

  • @Isaiah122 AHAHAHAHAHAH!! yeh... evolution isnt real....ahahaahahahaha thats priceless...only a Thiest would have the balls to say that *wipes the tear from his eye* awesome dude...what are u gonna say next? that dinosaurs never existed? lol thank u for making me laugh today dude i needed that!

  • I have a site called The Strong Delusion....we deal in many of the questions you raise...my site answers many of the questions you raise.....though you might find me dogmatic on some of the conclusions I present...yet more reasonable then some of the teachings you seem not to respect....I will discuss our differences respectfully if you like......

  • Christ was killed for human sins. If other planets require such a sacrifice, he would go there and do the same. However, this sacrifice is only required to prepare us for the 2nd coming, which is what we He was really after. Most species, without intervention, will self-destruct shortly after the discovery of the atom bomb. Certain measures are routinely taken to prevent this from happening, and that is what you are seeing on the Earth at this time.

  • you have beautiful eyes.

  • I THOUGHT YOU CARED...ha

  • BY THE WAY DO YOU EVER COME UP FOR AIR..THERE ARE 100'S OF BILLIONS OF STARS OUT THERE ITS ENDLESS. MORE THAN LIKELY..THERE'S MORE STARS OUT THERE THAN THERE ARE GRAINS OF SAND ON EVERY BEACH ON THIS EARTH...ADD THAT UP YOU SEEM TO BE SMART...PEACE SMART ARSE..ha ha ha..

  • Ur video is really informative wud u like to teach more . Plz contact me on my e-mail muusa20@yahoo.com

  • What about muslims? Nobody seems to dis their beliefs, " Hey your not muslim, lets chop off your head... oh your gay? Lets stone you to death. Oh you fuck married men? cut her tits off and let the bitch bleed in the name of ala," And no i dont care that its spelled wrong. I think before we talk about Christianity and its belief in alien life or not.

Shouldnt we be painting a HUGE bullseye around the middle east so that our alien brothers have something to aim at. Muslins: suck my alien balls!!

  • Good point, why non of the religions know nothing about live in other planets

  • This I find one of the most dangerous aspects of the abrahamic faiths, that they think this is it. Earth is where it began and Earth is where it ends. To them the universe is tiny, only in existence for humans and they see no future beyond Earth. No exploration into space. They think the clouds will part to reveal the kingdom of god in the heavens. Ignorant. They don't think about when jesus supposedly rose up bodily into the sky all that would meet him there was the vast vacuum of outer space!

  • As of 2010 astronomers approximate their are around 300 Sextillian Stars in the universe, a hell of a lot more than a billion.

  • christianity is such an ignorant religion, suiting for the ignorant people that refuse to see what is right in front of their eyes

  • You speak really poorly, for someone who appears to be smart.

0:15 Saying "made me want to epically facepalm" makes you sound like a fucking newfag, don't say that.

0:29 "majorily" Isn't a word; do you mean "majorly"?

    3:05 "habitle", it's "habitable".

3:30 "the minimum amount of life, of 3 billion years", should have been "a minimum life span of".

3:56 "minimalest" this whole sentence made no sense.

These are just the worst, not the only, not by a long shot.

  • @RupertAndCheese So I mispeak a lot in here. I know that, and I simply don't care. Commenting on this makes you a newfag. That is all.

  • @fruitikay Just saying, you should try and speak better, more eloquently, you seem to be a smart girl with some good discussion to give, make it better.

You don't appear to know what a newfag is, as well.

You used a meme in a way which was un-funny and makes people cringe at how stupid it sounds, that is newfaggotry.

  • @RupertAndCheese I can and will use words in whatever the way I want.

  • @fruitikay Well, you're a stuck-up bitch then, aren't you?

  • @RupertAndCheese Not really. I'm just annoyed with people who go around correcting stupid things on the internet. So I say stupid shit and phrases in this video. Who fucking cares? Seriously. And everyone knows that the only people who use the term "newfag" are newfags themselves. Its fucking annoying when people comment shit that doesn't matter and then pursue it like it's their life. Sort of like right now, which may constitute you as being somewhat of a troll who likes 4chan. Fuck off.

  • @RupertAndCheese Did you take 5 minutes outta your life to listen to the vid? Did you form an opinion based on what she said? So apparently you understood her and felt it relevant enough to respond regardless of how it was said so, stfu.

  • @RupertAndCheese no reason to bash her intelligence because that's rude.

  • There is 1 important thing about all this is the fact that our planet cannot be the only 1 of its kind. The billions of galaxies out there all came from the same exploding atom. What makes us so unique? And remember there are solar systems out there that are billions of years older than us.When our sun swells we will jump in our light ship and find another planet to settle.Makes sense that this has happened before.

  • not all chrsitians think the same..i believe there is other life...bible says,,he created the heavens earth..also all of the universe...and if christians are to live purposefully right????than there is purpose for the rest of the universe not just here on tiny little earth!!!!!!

  • GOD is an extraterrestrial intelligence.

  • Here's a thought. The Universe is finite, and therefore there is a finite amount of combinations and patterns. Going from that, a planet that is earthlike may develop earthlike life, possibly even humanlike intelligent creatures with civilizations similar to our own.

  • Whew! I thought you were a christian apologetic, good thing I was wrong..

  • fruitkay have you ever thought about being a speaker of some kind because you should because you have the personality of a speaker it seems to me

  • Are galaxies God playing with a Spirograph? Did he get bored after creating Earth n fancied a bit of a doodle? Just kidding Zeus did it. I actually have a theory where Christians got their reasoning for having the Earth older than the Universe. Before Edwin Hubble; old rocks a fossils taught us the Earth was ancient, but the Steady State theory had the Universe much younger, galaxies were just clouds in the night sky. Until Hubble told us the galaxies were billions of lightyears away n that fit

  • you my dear are a very intelligent young lady...The world should be proud to know young people like yourself are going to be around to look after all the dumb F***ks after the rest of us older grump people are sucked off the planet into the newly born stars that are being devoloping...LOL because I`m telling ya girl I ant going to be coming back to this dumb ass planet....he...he.....even if that mean living the life of a bug for the next 100 million years...LOL

  • I think that the greater level of apathy among the general public towards space exploration is due to the fact that as yet there is no sign of any life 'out there'. There are big political implications in this because politicians will not want to fund expensive space programmes if public support is lukewarm. I believe that President Obama has recently slashed NASA's budget, correct me if I'm wrong.

  • I kinda like your version of the Bible....and I'm Christian....just not you know retarded...I am open minded and believe we aren't the only intelligent life along with many other things.....I'm definitely no fire and brimstone bible pounder. =)

  • last i heard the hovel telescope has found 54 planets in the goldylock zone,

  • @coltsrule5150 *kepler telescope

  • The authors of the Book of Genesis seem to have understood that our primitive ancestors were not alone on this planet but shared it with other beings who were, to use H.G. Wells' description of the Neanderthals, 'like us but different'. I'm thinking here of the Nephilim and the Anakim, see for example Genesis 6:1-4. So the Bible does not, as is often supposed, support the view that homo sapiens is the only intelligent being created by God.

  • A paper came out in March of this year estimating the number stars in our galaxy that may have Earth like planets orbiting them. Data from the Kepler Mission was used to extrapolate the number, and it suggests there may be 1 billion Earth like planets in the Milky Way alone. There's a really good video about it here: watch?v=dMWnaaUE6cQ Skip ahead to about 1:45 to get right to the Kepler part.

  • I have to say that I am glad that there are girls like you, who actually CARE for the universe and astronomy. I am good at astronomy, and as you might know, we don't have to look at far places such as Gliese 581. We will launch a rover to Jupiter's moon Europa and explore the ocean under the thick surface of ice. I'm so excited to witness the exploration of first biological life within the solar system.

    Europa, here we come!!!

  • Good video!

I've asked believers many times about the possibility of life elsewhere in the universe and how it relates to their holy books... They tend to ignore the question...

  • @finlarg Not all believers have a problem with the idea that there are other intelligent life-forms besides homo sapiens. Please refer to my comment further up this page as an example.

  • @atticana OK. I've heard of the Nephilim, but not the Anakim. Were they both located here on earth? If so, I was referring more specifically to the idea that God (if real) would certainly know IF life exists on planets in other star systems AND where they are located.

It would be a major boost to Christianity if a christian received some divine information which could then be confirmed by astronomers... don't you think?

  • type this in The Real Story Behind Aliens_ Ufos_ Demons_ Illuminati & Satanism. its 152 mins

  • how did i miss this?

  • @southdakotagirl30 I guess I'm going to have to disagree...I really don't think we are unique at all. I made this analogy in other responses to comments, it may be dumb, but it's like me making 900 billion muffins and only having a specific purpose for one of them. I don't remember reading in the Bible that angels were stars, as they are invisible beings like God...I'd have to disagree with that too. But that's okay, thanks for commenting. I'm going to get to your msg now. :)

  • @TheKyleBarrack14 Con't: Yes, I was going to mention Europa in my vid but ran out of time. Thank you for mentioning this in the comments.

  • @TheKyleBarrack14 Yes, exactly. Drake Equation...I can't believe I didn't actually mention the name of it in my video lol. XD

  • @pynic29 As for DNA, well Francis Crick (the co-discoverer of it) and even Richard Dawkins believe in a kind of panspermia which teaches that design can be detected but....by aliens. I find it interesting that almost any theory is accepted other than God. Sure, design and information in DNA doesn't specifically prove the God of the Bible was responsible but it is perfectly consistent with it. Someone clearly designed it and left a signature.

  • @pynic29 I never said that the universe is small. In fact, it's probably quite vast, and it's expanding (something, incidently, that the Bible mentioned well before it was discovered by science). There are a number of problems with travel at the speed of light ET's (energy, still problems of time, fuel consumption, space debri, etc.).

  • I actually just recently finished taking an astrobiology course that discusses exactly where you're talking about here. Me personally, I think Christians (including myself) should be open to the possibility that intelligent life exists. Me personally, I think many of these Christian websites claiming that the blood of Jesus doesn't cover the sins of aliens (if they exist) is absolute rubbish. How do they know that? I think it would be absolutely fascinating if we found out that aliens do exist.

  • @thunderbolt94 I'm glad you've taken an astrobiology course, that is awesome. When I was a theist, I believed there is a possibility that other life is out there (even if it's microscopic). I don't think it always has to conflict with your religion, although to me it can raise eyebrows. From an atheist perspective, it would make more sense for Jesus to be able to be the savior of alien civilizations, not just Earth. Why are we so special? Thanks for your comment, Thunder. :)

  • 'Blah blah blah', what book of the bible was that in again? :P

  • @StanMarsh1 Lol I get those comments a lot now.

  • Dear Jay,

Once again, this is an excellent video making some very interesting points. But regarding the whole question of 'Aliens,' I would say that my attitude towards life on other planets, the possibility of advanced Extra Terrestrials visiting Earth etc is similar to my attitude towards God. I make no claimsas to what is or what isn't because I honestly don't know. However, I don't believe, all of the claims, evidence and so forth cannot make me believe, and it has no bearing on my life.

  • @Ujames1978 Thnx for your cordial response. I'm not saying I "believe" in aliens. I believe it's most likely probable that there is other life (meaning even the smallest microbe), just like it is most likely there is no God. I'm not a gnostic. I said this in another comment response, but it's not likely aliens would visit us, as we are millions of lightyears away from other planetary systems anyway. I think it's relevant cause it makes me feel less unique, and more a part of the whole. Thanks :)

  • I think it would be interesting to see actual intelligent aliens to visit us and as soon as they are interviewed they are asked, "Do you know god?" and then the aliens reply "Oh, we have observed your species for a while, it is amusing to us to see how imaginative you are into creating this invisible imaginary friend, we find it,...what is the word....cute."

  • @ateopuertorico Lol that would be funny. I wonder if they would have their own concept of God or religion? We can never really know, because we only know things according to our own human experience. If life were develop elsewhere, it would most likely bring out completely different results.

  • @fruitikay I've always wondered if intelligent life as in, animals that think and have the properties we have, could come about belief in a god. Yet if they are capable of traveling around the universe with ease, I would think that their god belief was a mere ancient thing that one day just ceased when their knowledge increased. It's like today, we see that religions are dead wrong about life and the universe, yet people force themselves to keep believing in all that bullshit. Young dumb species

  • @fruitikay ur logic is wrong about the theoretical number of earth like planets. just saying

  • Just wondering, if Aliens do exist somewhere in the universe don't you think they would have let us know of their presence by now? It goes the other way too. NASA have their SETI research desperately seeking life out there, a signal, anything that may indicate intelligence. Nothing so far. On the other hand, closer to home, in each living thing there exists DNA, a signature for design which is filled with intelligent information. Also, this designer has made Himself know (John 1:1, 12)

  • @Shazoolo I was specifically talking about life that is not intelligent. Organisms, plants, and microbes. That is currently the main pursuit right now, is to find any sort of life. Even if intelligent life is not found, if non-intelligent life IS found, that will still raise eyebrows about religion. Also, we ourselves can barely even send out signals of our own to other "intelligent life" in space. If we do, it could easily be mistaken for a gamma ray burst, supernova, or quasar by other planets

  • @fruitikay Con't: Also, we have sent out many signals in the past and have gotten nothing back. Also, we have received signals in the past and haven't known where they have come from. It is hard to tell whether they were just leftover from supernovas or gamma ray bursts. That means that if there is intelligent life, they would have to be way more advanced than we. There could be intelligent life still in the dark ages or developing. Not all are on the same time schedule.

  • @fruitikay Con't: Also, we have sent out the spacecraft called "Voyager" that contains records that have hundreds of images of things on Earth, greetings in many different languages, and pictures of human beings and symbolic instructions of how to play it. We have sent it off into space to let it wander...by the time it would reach any alien civilization, it would be millions of years in the future. The closest star to us is that many miles away.

  • @fruitikay I don't think such life (or even intelligent life) elsewhere in the universe poses any difficulties for the Christian as it would simply highlight more of the incredible creativity of the Designer. A book you may be interested in which I would recommend that deals with this issue is: Alone in the Universe? by David A. Wilkinson.

  • @Shazoolo Thanks I'll check out that book and see if I can fit it in my reading list...I'm not one to block out speculation of my own point of view. Thank you for watching my video.

  • @fruitikay You would enjoy it. There are a few others written by Christians on this subject too now. Hey, hope you don't mind but I have submitted a video response to this. It's not a new video but one I did a while back on the subject of alien life and UFOs from a Christian point of view. Anyway, it may contribute to the debate and be of interest to some of those posting here. Take care fruitkay.

  • I remember seeing something about a planet that is quite large, larger than earth. During it's spring and autumn it is about the same distance from the sun as the earth is however during the winter, due to its oval orbit, it flies to the edge of the solar system and in the summer it flies roughly the same distance to its sun as mercury does to ours meaning both it;s summer and winter are very extreme however it's spring and autumn isn't too different to ours.

  • @Frasssaanarchy Wow that is very interesting. I think I've also heard about what you are talking about as well. It would be interesting to get the specifics. Thank you for the input. :)

  • I think I'm sub to your channel its awesome.

  • @Unworshipediety Thanks. I try my hardest not to waste people's time, although I know some vids every now and again might be "whatever-fun" vids, I try to have a balance. :)

  • @southdakotagirl30 Yes, I did stop to consider it and I found it perposterous. We're his "favorite" creation? lol that's classic, we always up ourselves on this high pedistal. The planets and sun used to revolve around us remember? It's obvious people still think the universe revolves around us metaphorically speaking.

  • @dredsdomain **We always put ourselves up on this high pedistal**

  • There has to be life on other planets coz you are out of this world 8p

Seriously, Hawkins goes intot quite some depth about the subject including how easily Earth would be able to be known to intelligent life forms not of our world due to the degree of waves we emit so freely. I saw a cartoon once showing aliens wanting to blow up Earth because all they could get on thier TV's were Brady Bunch reruns xD

  • @MilitantPeaceist LOL people are always telling me, "If you like space so much, why don't you just go there and stay?" (kiddingly of course). I love Hawkins. I find him to be exceptionally intriguing. His enthusiasm also is appreciative to me. lol thanks for the comment. :)

  • Interesting. As I see it, our view of God is simply too small. C.S. Lewis once said “Christians and their opponents again and again expect that some new discovery will either turn matters of faith into knowledge or else reduce them to patent absurdities. But it never happens.” Will space disprove God? Would an alien race even need salvation? Might they be so advanced that they already know and love God to the wpoint that they do not require a savior. Nice video. Take care.

  • @jfrontier1 As I view it, our view of the universe is too small. That's like me making 900 billion muffins, and only having a specific plan for one of them. Are the other muffins just something for the maggots on the first one to stare up at? As an intelligent being, I'd find a better use for all of them lol. I would have to disagree w/ Lewis. It does happen all the time. New things are found and they raise eyebrows, some people just refuse to accept it. I'm moving dis week, respond 2 msg asap

  • @fruitikay New discoveries do happen all the time, but do they either prove or disprove God's existence? Would you really make 900 billion muffins and not have a plan for them? How do we know God has no plan for the others planets in the other galaxies? Maybe He has already done something for them, or that they do not even need saving, remember that salvation is for sinners, maybe He has a better plan for them? Many refuse to accept evidence, or better yet, do not think about it. Good luk movin'

  • If we're the only beings created in the image of God then we're the only ones who can sin. Aliens can't sin any more than chipmunks and pigeons can sin. They'd just be other animals even if they're more intelligent than us and even if they worship other gods. Even if they come and enslave us, they're not doing anything wrong. They're just being the kind of animal they are. I, for one, welcome our new flying chipmunk overlords.

  • @Chuck1863 Lol yes, agreed. Interesting input. They would pretty much be like animals. That also brings the question: Why us?? Seriously. Is it because we ate the fruit? If God is all-knowing, surely he would have predicted that we would eat of the fruit. Why did he knowingly create beings who he knew would disobey him?

  • @fruitikay God's ways are so subtle that it's almost like he didn't exist.

  • I really like the Starvin' Marvin in Space South Park episode.

Kyle: Marklar, these marklars want to change your marklar...They use Marklar to try and force marklars to believe they're marklar. If you let them stay here, they will build marklars and marklars. They will take all your marklars and replace them with Marklar.

Plan 9 from Outer Space has this gem among it's silliness:

You didn’t actually think you were the only inhabited planet in the universe. How can any race be so stupid?

  • @Teloculos Lol that was a funny one.

  • While I recognize that we can only go on what we know. I've always thought it's very presumptious to assume that a planet has to have what we consider the building blocks of life, something in the goldilocks zone, etc. There's been reports from Nasa of finding life that is contrary to this evidence actually.. I'll try to find and link. Btw, Look at Darkmatter's channel. I think he makes some inconsistent assumptions for christians but he has a great vid on finding planets like ours! :)

  • @losoyo Yes, I am familiar with what you said. Scientists presume that that is what we need for life, but there can always be exceptions to this rule. Scientists have admitted this, as I have read in the sources in the description. Life has been found in the deepest darkest lowest parts of the ocean with no sunlight, even. I LOVE Darkmatter. He's awesome. I did see the video you are talking about. :) Thanks for commenting.

  • Actually we are in the process of being able to block the light directly from the star and trying to see the planets themselves rather than just seeing" them from the radial velocity. See vector vortex coronagraph and nulling interferometry. We might find a better way if we keep testing different approaches.

  • @CraniumOnEmpty Yes I am familiar with that. However, planets are still extremely difficult to see because they don't possess the light that stars do. If we are able to see them, they are tiny pixels and we can only speculate. But yes, everyday we are finding new ways to become more sure about these things. :)

  • great video fruiti

  • @gunnerdan70 Thank you. :)

  • @crusheroftheist Educate? You haven't presented any evidence or reason. You just launced into name calling like a two year old. Go learn proper manners. And epistemoligy and logic while your at it.

    BTW -Your Blocked Chump!

  • @crusheroftheist LOL. So pathetic. Did I hurt your atheist feelings? LOL

  • @crusheroftheist The difference is that aliens are not essential to existence

  • When a star dies, it creates a black hole. Other strars are born everyday, is Yahweh controlling and maiking this activity happen independant of Earth? I mean really, we wouldn't even know about this shit if it wasn't for telescopes. And as far as Jesus coming back, it only relates to Earth. What if there are people on other planets by that time? Is god going to take out his wrath on Mars or whatnot also? Just something to ponder.

  • @TempleofInanna Excellent input, thank you! :)

  • If you want me to believe in aliens...present them to me.

  • @trident343 I didn't really mean aliens, I meant any organism. It could be a plant, and that would be exciting. You might say it's not relevant to salvation, but I think the fact the Bible doesn't specifically (in detail) handle this issue is a reason to explore. It raises eyebrows about the "uniqueness" of Earth and that we perhaps are not set a part. It makes me feel a little less selfish. I think it's dangerous when we stop wondering about things that are considered "irrelevant". :) Thanks

  • I would have to say yes, aliens have a high probablity of existing. The universe goes on with planetary systems and galaxies for millions of light years past what we can view in the sky or even telescopes. This is obviously not all for us humans, or why else would iit be there? It's conceited arrogance to think that everything is here for the benefit of humans.

  • @TempleofInanna Exactly, right on the dollar. :) We are a grain of sand in the midst of all the beaches in the world. I think that because this is hard for us to fathom, that that is why people revert back to what is mentally "comfortable" which is the idea that we are special or unique, and that everything was overseen by a creator.

  • God was an alien. Jesus was a hybrid.

  • While the Bible doesn't specifically say anything about it, it also doesn't seem to leave the option open, given what it does say. I believe that those who say the Bible leaves the option open, only want to protect themselves from being falsifiable. The Bible clearly doesn't show any concern ever, with life elsewhere, except heaven of course.

  • @IntelligentProbe I agree, the Bible seems to leave out life elsewhere. But the probable reason for that is most likely because the Bible is limited to the times according to the mortal men who wrote it. I mean, there were ancient astronomers and all, but the main focus of thinking and the "scope of the perspective" was just the heavens (the sky) and the Earth. What is interesting is that there are some Christians (some who commented here) who actually accept that there could be life elsewhere.

  • This is one of the main reasons why I'm not a Christian anymore. Just think of Jesus dying on earth, then going to probably trillions of other planets or moons in the universe that can sustain intelligent life, preaching about God and then dying for the sins all of those races. But hey when I try and tell people to think about that all I get is "Stop thinking about that crap and just believe before it's too late!!"

  • @wikkedSeth Exactly, I get a lot of "why do you waste your time thinking about such things?" all the time, too. I think about this because it not only raises some eyebrows about religion, but it also gives me a personal perspective on my place in the universe and the fact I'm not the center of it. There is a bigger picture, I am just a small part of the whole. In a way, it makes me less selfish. And, space is cool. lol. Thanks for the comment.

  • religions are ignorent and arogent!

  • The aliens didn't eat the fobidden fruit. Case closed. XD

  • @TheEmpiricalTruth "aliens didn't eat the forbidden fruit."

Ever heard of "Out of the Silent Planet," by C. S. Lewis?

  • @TheEmpiricalTruth So using that rationale, I guess aliens are perfect, so we will see them in heaven. XD lol

  • just look at the ancient site of Puma Punku modern men cannot even duplicate it with our advanced machinery. architects look at puma punku and they say it shoulden't exist.

  • well according to the ancient sumerians who are the oldest recorded civilization, humans were created by the annunaki who are clearly stated as being from the planet nibiru. i don't believe any man made religion because i know that human beings are to primitive to really understand whats going on in the cosmos. there are beings who compared to us would be considered gods but i don't think there is one god who created everything. one day maybe humans can become gods to a lesser species.

  • @TheThrashZone Are you one of those Nibiru people? XD

  • I hear christians, the ones that believe that is (my mother says she doesn't know), say that aliens are "fallen angels".

  • @JustABitchyCancer I've heard that, too. Pretty crazy considering that God is supposed to be invisible. You'd think angels would be, too.

  • Christianity stems from the Crux(crooks) don't need to give it any more thought. What is a thought is that maybe these alien greys are in fact an ancient civilization that created us and then was hexenhammerd by the crusaders of the cross. Was it to find the grail or to destroy evidence for His Story.

  • @2ndSTARMAN Interesting. Hmm....thank you for your input.

  • By the way, very well thought out argument, if only religious people were smart enough to follow you lol.

  • IF god existed, why would he create such a large playground? The earth is trillions times smaller than an atom in relation to the universe. Either god exists and he has populated trillions of galaxies or there is no god and life is a miracle in and of it's self. I go with the idea that there is no god. If I were god why would I waste my time. God's a dick.

  • @dredsdomain Let me clarify, I don't believe in god but if he did he'd be a narsacistic dick hole that I wouldn't bow down to in a trillion years. That is assuming he is anything like what the bible paints him as.

  • @dredsdomain My point exactly. That's like me making a batch of 900 billion muffins, but only eating one of them or only giving a specific purpose for one of them out of all 900 billion. It's insane.

  • we are sector 2814

  • Billions and billions doesn't exist! Carl Sagan made it up!

  • @Coquipirate what is your point?

  • @PinkProgram lulz?

  • Wow, you really got a lot of links, and they look good.

  • @zarkoff45 Thank you. I've been studying this topic lately and I'm really passionate about it. I just wish that more people would take the time to actually check out the links I provide...some people posted comments on this video, and you can totally tell that they didn't even check out some of the sources I provided, not to mention the documentaries. All of that would totally answer their questions and speculations.
