Exact car my grandmother bought off the lot new in '67. Hers was light gold, 2 door, and either a 305 or 307, can't remember which.

When she passed away my uncle got it, garage kept, never wrecked, zero rust, all original with a mere 64k on odometer. Still had all paperwork and manual in glove box, unbelievable. Grandma sure could keep an automobile cherry I'll give her that !!

Sorry, but it's not the exact car from the Show.

"Metallicar" is a 4 door Hardtop- (or Sport-)Sedan.

That means that it's got no B-pillar like yours.

That's why "Metallicar" looks like a Coupee with the windows turned down ;)

But you've got a beautiful car anyways ;)

It's a gorgeous car. The 1965 style dash you have is correct: I searched around a bit and found this on wikipedia:

"Right Hand Drive cars were manufactured in Canada for export to some countries such as Australia, UK, etc., until 1969. They used a version of the 1965 Impala dash panel until 1969. Australian models were assembled in Australia from kits as this lessened tax on the cars."

So there you go, factory correct :-) And one of the best looking car models ever built, i.m.o.

This ois an Austrakian-built Chevy, right? I believe the dash is like in the the 65 Impala. I guess GM didnt feel like converting all the different model year dashboards to RHD so they must've kept using the 65 dash for several years. I've seen others like thet as well..

When we got it, it had a home made type dash in it. we searched for pics and most the 67's had this dash and we bought this one off a wrecked 67, but there is another type of dash in some 67's but I couldn't find anywhere to purchase one

Great Car, whats up with that dash, I realize It's a right hand drive but that dash is not a 67 Chev Impala. Its a possibly a Cadillac or Pontiac. Someone did some customising, Outstanding. FM

Thanks, when we got the car it only had a handmade thing around the speedo and a few of the cars I found in magazines had the same dash as this one, but we have seen cars with a different style. We weren't sure which was the right one. We got this one off a guy who strips and rebuilds impalas.
