each day just about everyone willingly carries something with a much much much longer range than RFID, with a microphone on it that can be activated remotely... right in their pockets.

i work in electronics and there's no tinfoil on my head, they can listen to your cel anytime they want, whether you're in a call or not. If you google it, you'll find "mainstream news sources" confirming this.
