Yes. There are different mixes to this song. Some of them, when not censored, refer to the "sugarcane" as "rock cocaine," a.k.a. crack cocaine. In those versions, one line near the beginning is, "Taking me over like rock cocaine." It's also the reason for the line, "Ain't you ever wondered why they call it dope?"

thay were originaly signed to factory records in the uk, but were unhappy with the lack of promotion that tony wilson gave to them, so they left factory not too long after this song came out looking for a better deal, which they never found and broke up soon afterwards.
