@cobretti97 yes they will plus a new jailbreak is out now so u can be on latest firmware 3.55 and now have to use a jailbreak device because there is now custom firmware which u can install and have a permanent jailbreak i will b doing a new video monday showing this.

@federalex Not with the desire u can install the psfmod custom clockwork recovery menu that uses the PL3 hack which i think is better than hermes 4. just use unrevoked to flash it 2 your desire. Will message you the links.

@goker555 yes they are all fake there is no jailbreak for 3.50 and may never b thats y im sticking 2 3.41 until custom firmware comes out. The way things r going we may see it in a few months.

@santalos5 rooting your phone is easy if u message me your email address i will send u a full guide and all the software u need. with my guide u will not go wrong and have your ps3 jailbroken and soon custom firmware open up lots on the ps3. If u have a psp i can show u how 2 install custom firmware on that 2.

no matter i did it with the OpenDesire 4.0.32 rom. Great tutorial works Perfect!

@tienouk have u tried installing the new clockworkmod recovery 2.5.0.9 its much better no need to install that rom all the time u just go to the receovery mobe and select psfreedom. Will send you link if u need them on how to.

@sioncoxall cheers for the heads up i was still using 2.5.0.7 i will upgrade now and see the differences. if you could send me a link that would be cool. one problem is my ps3 laser has just broke so i have no blu-ray drive. i am w8ing for the psfreedom to allow 'no disk in drive' and to play backups.

@yeehaw789 You think i don't know that...lol im keeping it on that update to see what happens its still early days and ps3 is going the same way the psp did with custom firmware update shame you updated and will never get to see this. Oh yeah i have my xbox 360 elite to play all my games online (much better online play) and wii and my hacked psp.

@Tossphate When you root your phone u do run the risk of voiding your warranty because manufacturers will not cover you for it. But if you use unrevoked u cannot go wrong and once you have done that make a nandroid backup via the recovery menu and u can restore your back if anything did go wrong. If u like can can message you a full guide on how to do this. Will be doing my own videos soon on android phone rooting and installing custom roms so watch this space

@faddys1234 if u have updated to 3.42 on your ps3 then yes because sony has block it with this update. But the guys who made the ps3 jailbreak are working on a way round that. I am still on 3.41 waiting to c what happens but that does mean you cannot access psn and play online. Let me know if i can help in anyway.

@rdt1970 cannot find a full guide so made one myself if you read the details in video description i have writen a full guide on how to do it. But your HTC desire does need 2 b rooted and have open desire 4.0.4 custom rom installed (you will find the rom 2 download in the 1st link) easy way to root your phone is to use the guide i have just included at the end of my video description.
