ive only been taking german for a year but, why does it sound like she is saying sing still instead of something like singt.

@xUncleA123x Indeed she is saying "sing" instead of "singt", because she is singing to the Nightingale. She is asking the Nightingale to sing, which means the Nightingale is 2. person singular. Hence the correct form of the word "singen" in German would be "singe" (Imperative), but for the lyrical sake it sounds better as "sing". I hope I could help and not increase your confusion :)

I am not patient enough to watch a show which will consists of more than 1000 episodes. But thanks to that, I am able to listen to German language because I am always surrouned by Spanish in the U.S. The chance to meet a German speaker is very rare.

@sunshineinyoureyes03: Well, I watched a German soap opear on YouTube with English subtitles and I have to say that German is a beautiful language in term of intonation.

German and French language are very euphonious to my ear and I would like to learn them someday. Spanish language sometimes sounds so hasty and annoying to me . No offense but this is my opinion.

Therefore, the answer is yes. I like this German version although I cannot understand a single word. ^ O ^

Different versions of Cinderella recorded in different languages are unique in their own ways. Stop saying which one is better than one another.

I prefer the English version because I don't speak German. Still, this version is beautiful in a very German way.

Ich muss sagen, dass ich die Deutsche und Norwägische Version eindeutig am schönsten finde.

Was ich tatsächlich Schade an den meisten Dubs finde, ist es das Cinderella wirklich alt - gar wie eine Opernsängerin klingt. Eindeutig in jeder Sprache ein genuss zu hören, doch wenn ich Ton und Bild sehe und höre stimmt beides nicht für mich überein.

nei du läßt ganz normal die CD (das lied das du haben willst) über eine ganz normale anlage laufen, und wenn dein handy eine rekorder/aufnahmefunktion hat, dann kannst du es doch ganz einfach aufnehmen, dazu brauchst du keinen kopierschutz zu umgehen :-)
