One thing all of you who ask will the bands work need to understand is this: The human body moves in three planes. In those three planes, the body has 360 degrees of possible motion. These bands are one of very few training tools out there that allow you to train your body in all those directions and in all three planes.

@HopeYouLOL you must breathe through your nose and never from your mouth.that way air goes directly into your lungs.through the mouth you get tired faster and soon youll start to feel that stinging pain on your ribs because your breathing to fast and not getting enough air in there.so always breath through your nose its very ;hard at first because you will feel a lack of air and open ur mouth to breath but with practice youll start to do it without even knowing it
@HopeYouLOL its kinda easy to do just breathe through your nose and exhale through your mouth it takes a little getting use to but when you got it down it makes running a lot easier . also try not to slouch or ball your hands tight when you run it adds more resistance and not needed tension. at least that's how i been told to do while i train in running.
@kakafastlennon they work different things so do both. Downhill sprints train using something called overspeed and uphill sprints work on strength and proper sprint form.

We suggest doing the stairs as in this video and working on cone drills, forward 10 yards, lateral left 10, back 10 and lateral right 10. also 10-15 yard burst in all directions. this works on quickness but also endurance. soccer requires a lot of change of direction which can cause fatigue much quicker .
i am a 15 year old midfielder 5'6 nd weigh about 145lbs wat can i do to increase my speed and agility and should i run with ankle weights???plz respond thank you
@Chelsea851113 Do not run with ancle weigths. Just walk with them everyday to school, and etc. Then when you are going to play soccer, take them of, and you will see the difference.

A lot of soccer players run long distance which is great but it takes other work to really build stamina. we suggest stairs, jump ups on to a bench, hop over, over a bench or chair 6-12 inches high, also backward sprints of 20 yards or so is a great way. our preference is not for ankle weights but they have proven effective. I would invite other ideas for anyone reading this.
I'm a middle distance runner on the track and I do many exercises like this. Doing a couple sets of that mini circuit you have here will work brilliantly for developing the ability to explode deep into exertion. I used to routinely do these exercises and could absolutely blow people away in the second half of races.
this was for demonstration purposes during a quick workout. we would never suggest wearing cleats on concrete. thank you for noticing and brining that to our attention

What's the point? The bands provide resistance half the time, and provide assistance during the other half. Plyometrics work much better!

@HopeYouLOL work on slow easy breaths during practice or training. the key is to relax and breath. you can also work on breathing through your nose.
