I'll probably be taking this train within the next 9 days. It's the one and only train (grrr) that goes through my hometown of Atlanta.

Do they still allow you inside the wye? Ive heard that the area is pretty much off limits to railfans now. nice vid.

Its off limits for the most part. Its usually patrolled by the NS police. I usually just go in to turn around or go where this video was taken. The crossing that the Crescent is crossing in the vid. is public property I think because an NS cop drove by me and I was sitting there and he didnt say anything to me but kicked a bunch of non-railfan photographers out.

Its just south of the yards in ATL. The crescent is going onto the Piedmont Div. and will arrive at the station in about 2 or 3 miles.
