@jetpoweredgriffin Well that's what I don't like about these movies. The military is just sterotyped as idiots. Heck even with a dragon apocalypse eventually people would fight back. It takes for them breed after all. Not mention there is all that surplus military equipment currently in storage. Heck Russia has entire stocked armories and vehicle depots in nuclear proof bunkers.

Um... okay, they may be 'irregulars', but it's been years since the dragons came, and according to previous conversations they have killed quite a few of them. So... you would imagine they have some experience with basic military tactics and a beast that uses 'streams of fire'...

Why on earth are they all standing, in a big group, amongst a long line of vehicles, with their lights on, as the dragon "sets them up"?

I love this movie & this is the third time I've seen it.

I can suspend belief that they somehow managed to keep some military equipment and enough gasoline/fuel but why are they using shotguns?

If anything, they should have what Gerard Butler & Christian Bale have which are sniper rifles & machine guns

@cloudylemon1 most choppers dip their nose forward to have the propeller aim forward. so the chopper would move straight. now i do beleive some choppers already have the propeller tilted forward so the chopper can stay level.
