Nice playing and i love your guitar tone; i'm planning to buy a CPX 15. Obviously it sounds great plugged but i heard that it was not that good when unplugged...what do u think?

how do i use a computer to record me playing aswell as plug my guitar pod x3 to the computer and have the webcam record the sound aswell as the movie of me playing?

What software do you use and how do u use it to record sound from pod x3 and movie of you playing?

I use fruity loops to record. I plug the guitar into the pod and the pod via usb to the computer. The pod is recognized as soundcard to the recording software.

I use my webcam software to record the movie without sound. I push almost the same time the record button of the webcam software and fruity loops and put after recording the movie and the sound file together at the right time in windows movie maker. That´s it.

Absolutely beautiful, bud. I'm currently recording through a Toneport GX, but will upgrade in another 6 weeks or so to the X3. I simply didn't have the $460 two months ago when I purchased the $68 (CDN) GX (best money I've EVER spent on musical gear), but as soon as tax time rolls around, hello X3. :)

There is no additional micro, but the yamaha cpx 15 has an onboard piezo and an onboard microphone which is mixed together.

It´s just the cpx pickups into the pod x3, no additional effects but the pod x3 ones (large room reverb and a little chorus)

I'm getting a pod x3 tommorrow so I was wondering. Do you know I could make my acoustic guitar sound as beautiful as this with a microphone in front?

I used the "line 6 clean amp" on the pod X 3 with the treble, the middle and the presence turned all down only the bass at 12 o clock. Maybe this helps

Thanks. Still not sure if I am buying once since I really love my GT-8 and am not sure if the X3 will give me anything more than I have with the GT8.
