@FEROCIOUSxGx Yeah it only works in certain traffic lights. In fact, this traffic light is old and apparently, it especially doesn't work in newer traffic lights, probably to prevent people from using it for this "prank".

@nooto222 Good for you. And I do remember in London there is a warning to let people know which way to look to reduce confusion since they drive the opposite side of the road. And if you don't get this video I press the button which makes the traffic light on the other side turn red. Btw, it won't work on all traffic lights

Yes, I do that a lot. When i cross a 4-lane highway with a ton of traffic, I push the button again and watch the cars stop from around the curve. Sometimes cars in my subdivision get to go through the light without stopping when the pedestrian signal is activated. I am the only one who EVER crosses there, there is nothing on the other side of the road.

I did this when I was about 12 and I thought it was pretty funny, I hit the button walking past and looked back and saw about 30 cars lined up at the lights.

If you don't think you get it, this "traffic light prank" was done by pressing a button labeled "press button, wait for green light" or something like that on the residential street traffic light and then the light on the main road will turn yellow, and then red. If you reply to this comment saying that you still don't get it, then there must be something wrong with you.

Well this button doesn't work immediately for all traffic lights. In fact, that button is meant for people who is waiting to cross the street. If you press the button in some lights, the light will not change immediately, although it will change sooner. The worst traffic lights will say "Wait" constantly once you press the button and won't shut up, and the light will take FOREVER to change.
