Harvickfan09- Yea, I have an R/T. As far as the gas mileage, they also have that computer system on them that makes them go from a v8 to a v4 when you are just coasting along. That helps a lot on gas mileage too.
my dad buried the needle at 160 in are challenger r/t completely stock....he still had rpms left so this could prob get to 180-190(and yes thats only the 5.7L)

When I am driving normal I usually get about 20 or 21 mpg, but I have got as good as 25 on the interstate. 6th gear is a really high gear and you can run 70 mph at about 1500 rpm, so that helps.
hey wats ur record for 0-60 mph? motor trend got it to go 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds. i was wondering if you gotten close to that in ur challenger. i plan on buying one too thanks! :D
finally a dodge challenger with a 6 speed manual. those things are rare! when my mom bought a brand 2008 dodge caravan i was looking at this 2009 dodge challenger that had the 6.1L SRT8 engine in it. on the piece of paper it showed 35 mpg on the highway. but i'm canada though. and that would be in canadian gallons.

i was in triptronic and hade traction off it wasnt exzactly 160 deff 155 or more tho i dont know if on of those two thing would change anything

If you get the computer flashed, sure. But stock with the limiter top speed is 140.

Oh, it depends on where you are; things like wind speed, elevation, weight, etc. can greatly affect it. I've seen these things go over 180, though.

i kno it can go faster than 138 cuz i was doin 140 in mine and i have the 5 speed auto. i think it can get to 147 or somewhere around there
