Masha'Allah was checking out ur channel & a few Videos... Masha'Allah may Allah accept from u & reward u & forgive u 4 any shortcomings - Ameen.
Bro, i havent come across any such Dua-Is there a Daleel that is Sahih or Hassan or is it a Daeef Hadith? Jazak Allah khair Akhi.
Masha'Allah there r many Authentic Dua's in a book 'Fortress of the Muslim' that we can recite daily including before eating as well... Its available online for all our benefit Insha'Allah.
Assalamualikum wa rahmatullah. Is there a sahih hadith to back this up? I've been taught that the correct doa before eating that is sahih from Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wassalam is only "Bismillah" and nothing else. (Hadith Abu Dawud, no 3767 and At-Tirmidzi, no 1858). Suggest everyone reads "Hisnul Muslim" for authentic doa based on sahih ahadith. Wassalamualaikum wa rahmatullah.
me too, i have just gone through the fortress of a muslim book and i cant find this invocation in there anywhere, has he sent you the proofs you requested? jazak
No I have not seen any proofs yet, but rather I have read the hadeeth in which the Prophet 'alayhis-salatu was-salam said that you are to say 'bismillah' before eating. And from this we learn that you are not to say 'bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim' or anything similar to that, but 'bismillah' is all that you should say as this is what the Prophet 'alayhis-salam said.
To me it was not clear that you were repeating for folks to learn. It sounded like you are suggesting that we should repeat the Dua that many times before eating. Islam should be simple brother and that is what I meant. Jazak Allah Kheir for posting this video and sorry for the misunderstanding.
Bism Ellah is all that is needed, in my opinion anyways. Why do some people need to make this an extreme, Islam is supposed to be dein al yuser, easy religion, why do we have to repeat something 50 times. The almighty knows what is in our hearts we do not need to speak it out of our mouth for Allah to hear it. Give me a break!
As Salam Alaikum, Calm down this brother is trying to help, if you don't want to say the dua then it's fine, if you just want to say bismillah it's fine, but don't be mad at others if they want to say this dua. We are all brothers and sisters there is no need to argue, Allah knows all of our intentions.
You people talk too much about truth and good brotherhood. But you never apply in your own life. You are living in fear to go hell. If you rearlly change your heart you may be benifit for soceity. Try Jesus.
Regarding that du'aa' you mentioned, did the Prophet say this du'aa' (in this particular fashion) .... بسم الله وعلى بركة الله. Could you please reference the hadeeth for all of us? Thank you.
Because, from what I have read ... the du'aa' before eating, is just: بسم الله (Bismillah), i.e. in the Name of Allah.
##Correction: The term Ahle Bayt Muhammad translates to People of the House of Muhammad. This phrase was also shortened to simply Ahlel Bayt but it is implicit that this refers to the House of the Prophet (صلّى الله عليه وآله وسلّم) and nobody else. It translates to people of the house with emphasis on the to denote the respect given to the Prophetic household. Meaning descendant of Nabi saw

For an action to be accepted, it must be:
1) with Ikhlaas, i.e a sound intention seeking no other than Allah's Face.
2) according to the Sunnah of Allah's Messenger salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam.
"Intentions" are not sufficient, actions must also be according to the Sunnah.
