Tracy Strauss can freeze her body and shatter her in a million pieces. Sylar claims he can't kill Clair, but he just spared her life and gained her ability. If the black hole guy was still alive, he could use his power to kill her.
correct, if you watch the show there was a spot after she was raped where she was in the hospital and there was a stick in the back of her head, and when the doctor took it out she healed and all that good stuff.

then how can he be killed then? it took Hiro to bury Adam 6 feet under just to stop him but he was never killed, but Sylar cant be just buried/shot in the head cause he has Telekinesis to help him out.
I wonder if Hiro and Peter synced their time power, if it could lock a person in time permanently. If Hiro were to fast-forward and Peter reverse at the same time, whatever is between them would basically be frozen. No amount of telekinesis could save you then.
That was because Hiro was trying to fight Adam, not hurt Peter. Also, current Hiro isn't really that great at being a fighter, but Peter and future Hiro show that they're ruthless when they need to be.
What is dumb is that Hiro can't seem to lock the new "Flash" villain in time. Moving fast doesn't mean you can move faster than time, lol. I hope they explain that one.
Im thinking Hiro stops time and shoves something in his head, like when Claire got the wood or whatever stuck in her head in season one. They are supposed to die if that happens but if its taken out they come back to life, so maybe they shove it in and never take it out? Just a thought..
Yeah, shoving something in the brain can kill spontaneous regenerators, but when taken out, they come back to life. A handgun bullet works as well, yet when taken out , they will also come back to life. So in a way, shooting them in the head can kill them, while the shooting other parts of the body won't make them stay dead. But for a shotgun or decapitation, they will stay dead and not come back to life. Why? Because the head has been pulled off and the brain splattered into hundreds of bits...
Through shooting them in the head with a shoy]tgun (handguns won't work). That will put them to rest forever and they won't be able to come back to life. Seriously, Claire should really meet up with Adam.

So he doesn't actually eat their brains to get their abilities, all he has to fo is study the part of the brain, which controls the ability, hence his first ability, being able to see how things work.

yah in the first season he says he understands how thigns *tick* so i am guessing he examines the brains and thats how he learns those peoples powers. it also explains why he use to be a watch marker/fixer he understood how they worked so he chould easly tell what was wrong with them.
In the first season, HRG says that Sylar is that crazy from all the alterations of DNA he absorbs. So im pretty sure he digests the brains not examines them. And im even more sure that i read that in an interview like a year ago.
i was so sure his power was to know how things worked because of that event where he put the watch near his ear and he knew immediately that it was 2 seconds late..so i agree with Alorahbeth because that was my theory too.

when sylar gets his powers back he goes to claire bennetts house and opens her up and takes her powers but he discovers that she is stil able to heal herself and that is how future claire is still alive after sylar killed her in the future. claire cannot die and sylar cant die now.
cuz, its all about the darker side of the people with abilities. earlier you only saw Sylar and Adam using their powers for evil, now you see new villains and some of the good heroes chosing to be on the bad side.

She lives because she's blond in this trailer and she's brunette in another. Something tells me her head will heal when he tries to cut it open because in season one Peter healed when sylar tried to cut his head open. But I think she becomes a villan because she's shooting Peter in another trailer.
He gets her power. Cuts her head open, probes around in her brain, and gets whatever he needed to gain her power. She however lives, so she doesn't loose her power presumably.

Claire is about to leave her house and when she is heading for the door, Sylar is standing there. and after a chase he pins her to the wall, slices open her head and then her takes her power, and maybe since Sylar wanted to be nice he put her head back together and she healed. and yes she does keep her power but now Sylar has it too.

Claire was relevant in the fact that if she weren't there, there would be no basis for Season 1. If Sylar had killed her, he would be unstoppable in the fact that he would be able to regenerate, and would never die. The bomb would have gone off for sure; there would be no Nathan to fly Peter to the sky to go boom.
i agree that she is not irrelevant (why was the company after her if she was irrelevant?). Noah is human, he just didnt seem that way in the beginning of the series. and she is not the pretty teenage girl in the series (there are plenty of other minor characters to fill that role).
It is indeed her curse to bear (its also Adam's but I don't think he has tried to deal with it at all). Claire was important in season two because it was only her blood that could cure Nikki, Maya, and unfortunately Sylar. Last, she is the reason her father died (the first time around), Elle got a bullet in her arm, and Bob threatened to take measures into his own hands.
Claires power is rather irrelevant, but it's interesting how she has grown with it. I look at it like,"She will never die, well it's her curse to bare." It teaches you that harshness of living forever and how you can use it against people. I look at it like her curse of living forever. Let me know if I've lost people here or explained a theory lol.
Without Peter meeting Claire he would have died in Texas and there'd be no one to face Sylar. Sylar would be unstoppable and still blow up half of New York. The whole episode with the future was why Claire was so important. now her blood is the key to stopping the Shanti virus. I'd say she's important still. No one knows how her powers work.
Actually *SPOILERS ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!* It was Future!Peter who shot Nathan. In the Five Years Gone episode of S1 Nathan's dead and with the way S2 ended it almost comes full circle expect with the whole Nathan not dying thing now. I think this promo is that, with everyone distracted the Heroes have forgotten the message Future!Hiro told them that brought them together: Save the Cheerleader, Save the World.
Sylar goes to Claire's house for her powers. They fight. She stabs him. He of course doesn't die. Eventually, Sylar captures her, and slices her head open. LITERALLY. He then steals her powers by studying her brain. LITERALLY AGAIN! After taking her invulnerability power, he tells her that she can't die, and indeed, when he replaces the top of her skull (Holy crap!), she heals. (Sylar tells Claire, "You can never die, Claire, and now neither can I.")
she's not going to actually stay dead FYI. But who would really care if she did? Her character has been irrelevant since season 1. Peter has her power already and adam monroe is still around so who cares if she dies we just replace lame regenerative chearleader with a bad ass regenerative samurai.
It's hard to see but can anyone tell whether Claire's head is being sliced open or whether she is just screaming out of fear? Yes, if Sylar got Claire, only Peter would be able to stop him. As to who will save Claire, no one really knows.
I meant Meredith can protect Claire, but she cannot teach Claire to use fire. That is why she will forever be vulnerable to Sylar. And we don't know if Peter is throwing Sylar, Sylar is throwing Peter, or if Peter is even in the scene.
It would be great if Peter saves her so we can see a big fighting scene between Peter and Sylar which will most likely happen because we can see in another promo that Peter's trowing Sylar at a car.
You really don't see the significance of Claire do you? If Sylar kills her and gets her abilities, then the world is doomed unless Peter can stop him. And let me remind you that season 1 proved that they both have a 50/50 chance of winning.

I don't care if Claire dies...I hate Claire. IMO she is the most boring character to watch apart from Micah.
I mean, she doesn't do anything because overprotective HRG is always there to stop here. And besides what can she do? She has no skills whatsoever apart from her powers.
Its a possibility that Meredith can save Claire. Ya, she will survive. Cause I read in TV Guide mag. that Meredith will return and teach Claire how to protect herself from Sylar or any other villain for that matter.
How is she going to do that? Sylar can stop bullets and hold down a person with his telekenisis. To put it bluntly, a gun or physical violence won't work.

yah in the first season he says he understands how thigns *tick* so i am guessing he examines the brains and thats how he learns those peoples powers. it also explains why he use to be a watch marker/fixer he understood how they worked so he chould easly tell what was wrong with them.

In the first season, HRG says that Sylar is that crazy from all the alterations of DNA he absorbs. So im pretty sure he digests the brains not examines them. And im even more sure that i read that in an interview like a year ago.

what he probably does is cut their head off and sylars REAL abolility is to see how things work so he probably cuts through the brain and see how it works but i was watching this video of the cast going to comicon and james was watching the first episode when sylar was messing with the brain and he was making wierd faces and looked like he was going to puke

when sylar gets his powers back he goes to claire bennetts house and opens her up and takes her powers but he discovers that she is stil able to heal herself and that is how future claire is still alive after sylar killed her in the future. claire cannot die and sylar cant die now.

cuz, its all about the darker side of the people with abilities. earlier you only saw Sylar and Adam using their powers for evil, now you see new villains and some of the good heroes chosing to be on the bad side.

Clair only had brown hair in season 2 because it was in the future and sylar did kill clair in the future but thats all in season 2 and i dont think it counts much anymore and i doubt clair will turn evil and if she had a gun then it would have been a clip from season 2 when peter asks her to kill him if when he goes exsplosive..

She lives because she's blond in this trailer and she's brunette in another. Something tells me her head will heal when he tries to cut it open because in season one Peter healed when sylar tried to cut his head open. But I think she becomes a villan because she's shooting Peter in another trailer.

I never said that Sylar raped Claire's body. I was talking about Brody the quarterback from Season One Episode 3 "One Giant Leap".
Here's how it happened. Claire is about to leave her house and when she is heading for the door, Sylar is standing there. and after a chase he pins her to the wall, slices open her head and then her takes her power, and maybe since Sylar wanted to be nice he put her head back together and she healed. and yes she does keep her power but now Sylar has it too.

i read this on the hreoes wiki spoilers sylar does take her powers and her brain but sylar puts the top of her head back ps. sylar does not eat the brain but he studies it he thens puts back her brain and the top of her skull and then he says claire u can never die buy neither can i(awsome!!!)

Claire was relevant in the fact that if she weren't there, there would be no basis for Season 1. If Sylar had killed her, he would be unstoppable in the fact that he would be able to regenerate, and would never die. The bomb would have gone off for sure; there would be no Nathan to fly Peter to the sky to go boom.

i agree that she is not irrelevant (why was the company after her if she was irrelevant?). Noah is human, he just didnt seem that way in the beginning of the series. and she is not the pretty teenage girl in the series (there are plenty of other minor characters to fill that role).

It is indeed her curse to bear (its also Adam's but I don't think he has tried to deal with it at all). Claire was important in season two because it was only her blood that could cure Nikki, Maya, and unfortunately Sylar. Last, she is the reason her father died (the first time around), Elle got a bullet in her arm, and Bob threatened to take measures into his own hands.

Claires power is rather irrelevant, but it's interesting how she has grown with it. I look at it like,"She will never die, well it's her curse to bare." It teaches you that harshness of living forever and how you can use it against people. I look at it like her curse of living forever. Let me know if I've lost people here or explained a theory lol.

Without Peter meeting Claire he would have died in Texas and there'd be no one to face Sylar. Sylar would be unstoppable and still blow up half of New York. The whole episode with the future was why Claire was so important. now her blood is the key to stopping the Shanti virus. I'd say she's important still. No one knows how her powers work.

Actually *SPOILERS ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!* It was Future!Peter who shot Nathan. In the Five Years Gone episode of S1 Nathan's dead and with the way S2 ended it almost comes full circle expect with the whole Nathan not dying thing now. I think this promo is that, with everyone distracted the Heroes have forgotten the message Future!Hiro told them that brought them together: Save the Cheerleader, Save the World.

Sylar goes to Claire's house for her powers. They fight. She stabs him. He of course doesn't die. Eventually, Sylar captures her, and slices her head open. LITERALLY. He then steals her powers by studying her brain. LITERALLY AGAIN! After taking her invulnerability power, he tells her that she can't die, and indeed, when he replaces the top of her skull (Holy crap!), she heals. (Sylar tells Claire, "You can never die, Claire, and now neither can I.")

I meant Meredith can protect Claire, but she cannot teach Claire to use fire. That is why she will forever be vulnerable to Sylar. And we don't know if Peter is throwing Sylar, Sylar is throwing Peter, or if Peter is even in the scene.
