jpshoar is right. Don't use taunt as the first move on the mob.
The player does great job at jump attacking. Only people who have a shadower truly appreciates how difficult this is. Too bad the skills are used semi-randomly.
Yeah, it is pretty hard to be able to jump attack with BS without missing it once. If you try to just jump attack with BS over and over (Just experiment and jump in the same spot), your bound to miss it at least every 3-6 times you do it. Timing has to be almost perfect to do it over and over without missing one.
By the way, when you are able to 2 hit skele's with 2 BS's all the time, its fine to attack with Taunt first.
The way he trains though, he rarely gets a BS>Taunt>BS... more like all over the place and random. Sometimes its better to train the boring way, which is using BS>Taunt>BS rather than being fancy and random. When you don't feel like getting the fastest exp, its fine to be fancy for fun though :]
I just got shadower back when I posted. After 3 months I totally understand this video. It's okay to be random(fancy) sometimes or else it's just too boring. =D I have the jump/BS down pretty well now. I still miss it sometimes when I don't pay attention.
Venom gets super useful as you put points in it. It can do upwards to 15-20k every 1/2 second... which is even better damage than doing BS. Fake is also pretty good, and when it's at level 10, you can put 1 point into Taunt, which can add 11% exp (you probably already know this but w/e). Once fake is maxed, its SUPER fun, since you get a miss from a monster almost 1/2 the time. On top of regular misses, you're hardly going to get hit, and along with the invincibility (out of words)
invincibility of BS, you pretty much are invincible, and almost never taking a hit. So in all..... venom and fake are both very useful, but venom should probably be maxed first, since getting higher damage = better training and more misses = less pot waste and more fun. If you care about better training, you'd want venom. If you'd rather less pots and lots of misses, then go with fake (venom is recommended :]) Both of them will be maxed in the end though when you level even more :]
@ZeroMetalz his way seems faster, he stuns, taunt, and does the repeat to another mob while the old mob is suffering poison. your probably to accustomed to watching gms shadowers train..which is boring as u stated. this guys way bounces all over the map and most importantly he isnt getting hit
yeah.. I'm not saying its a WHOLE lot faster or anything, because you get the same 9~10%/hour (At 13x, not 17x). And his style of training is very similar to mine when I train, because i personally don't enjoy to do just BS>Taunt>BS... seems a bit too boring to me. And if you watch vids of mine... my control in them is totally different from my actual control, since Fraps lags you like hell, and its impossible to get Bstep jumps repetitively.
@ZeroMetalz fraps isnt supposed to lag your computer? at least my fraps doesnt o.o. other than that everything else u said pretty much makes sense. i think there's a video around of a lv191 kms shadower bs>taunt>repeat and he trains decently well. but yea the repetitive process does get boring.
Sorry, didn't mean lag. When i frap, i keep it on 10 FPS, which means that the recording might be 60~70 FPS, but i'm playing at 10. Playing at 10 FPS is hard as fk. Maybe i should make it 10 or something... but quality reduces.

taunt is the most trickiest execution imo, finding out the right time to use it and also how much you want into that skill

i thought u use taunt 2nd to last atk so u get as much dmg in before the wep def turns on

BTW, does venom help enough? I'm torn between venom and fake. I have max BS and 21 assasinate.

He isnt showing off how he trains he is showing off his control of his shadower.

How you train IS the definition of control... o-o

But how you control isnt how you train. This is just him showing off his best control he isnt showing us how he trains

and one more comment on his control. I like everything except for the fact that he uses Taunt as a first attack.
