Being her bfr doesn't exactly make you impartial does it? I wonder how much of her past you know about. She's hurt an awful lot of people, and her '..Suzi says so' effectively does the exact polar opposite of what she claims to be doing. It keeps people 'small' and needing her validation. If you want to learn about bashing, hurting and humiliating, go talk to your gfr. She's the Master.

Hmmm....I Really don't have a problem with people talking about other people amongst people they might consider friends. Everyone talks about other people...anyone who claims they never do is full of crap. What I do have a problem with are the so called friends who then feel the need to make themselves look good by telling the one that was talked about....those are the real Asshole trouble makers in my book. Suzi can dislike whoever she wants. NOt everybody likes everyone. Suzi is a great teacher. I don't know how many of these woman have actually went to art school. Most of the teachers are horribly rude, can and do break you down and can be extremely jealous of their students. I get NOTHING but respect and encouragement from Suzi. And she is there for her students regardless of if she likes them or not. Which as a teacher, is the only thing that matters.

I love painting and been doing great jobs lately but I don't consider myself as an artist...saying that I am an artist is not gonna make be better...it just gonna increase my ego...let your work speak for you and let the people call u an artist or not...you don't need tags or titles...I just enjoy what I do and that doen't make me more or less that anybody what makes me happy is making good artworks...I am not an artist I am just a guy that enjoy painting !!!!

validation is a powerful thing and a tool for those who want to use it to manipulate and gain power of those who crave it. We all crave it when inspiration is low and we're in a rut. But we should try to have the power to say "I"m an artist because I strive to be, I want to be and because I SAY SO!" I think if people need validation they should post their work up here and comment on other peoples work, then you'll get validation.
