You need high temperatures for nuclear fission and according to the guidelines of the competition equipment can only be heated or cooled in the range of 4 - 37 Degree Celsius.
@KucheySamir No, I haven't. However I know enough about fission to tell you that a gravitational field as weak as the earth's will have no effect on any nuclear process. I'd be interested to find out what would happen in the influence of, say, a neutron star's gravity (probably still nothing), but here there will be no change. Anyway, it could be the most ground-breaking experiment in the world, but they still wouldn't let you take enriched uranium into orbit :)
@SaiSabarish “Everything is possible for thouse who believes.” Well Yes, why not? it's all about equipment, material,Planing and implementation of the contemplation. What comes to the safety,It's as safe as we can make it and also how well we prapare plan for it."dangerous objects" I mentioned about that in video if you Remember,But It's pretty safe beacuse almost 100% of radiation can be sealed and experiement Can be done not (only)IN ISS But OUTSIDE Of It :) Thanks For Commenting
@347anant Well as you know Mass bends time and space (timespace). Two particles pull each other toward each other. Particle wich has Greater Mass bends spacetime more than smaller one so it basically means that smaller particle with smaller mass is suckd by bigger. If you Claim that gravity doesnt effect mass LIGHT Wich is said as "massles" Doesn't Go circles around the sun, But it comes to us (part of it) There has been peculation that light has a mass and if not then why black holes
@KucheySamir Sucks it in and why it has energy but no mass. Well Resent Discovery wich Proves to me that Gravity effects mass is that They discovered that light wich comes behind the the galaxy (i dont remember the name) acctually has been bended by the Galaxy. What i mean is that light didnt came through the galaxy, but it toured the galaxy. Wich proves that light (photon) has a mas but so small that we need glaxy to bend it, draw it, can be effected by gravity, effect spacetime
@TheJma945 Thank You! And i mean It :) First Positive Comment Made me Happy Hahah :D Clearly i like your science appetite Too haha :D I that Understan Its Hard For most people to Understand my idea and what i explore it's because Too difficult subject for for most and that i hadnt had enought time for explaining it (had to speak fast that got even basics in the video) And Yes I were about to make second video wich explains the first one but dont know if i can do that "its not a new experiment"
an interesting concept, but i doubt they'll be setting of nuclear reactions on the space station, and gravity doesn't actually affect mass, only weight.
@urplatz Gravitation, or gravity, is a natural phenomenon by which physical bodies attract with a force proportional to their mass. Yep you're Right! :D And Yes i mentioned about that problem in a video if you listened close enought :D ps. there is always chance of hope hahah :D
@urplatz Hahahahah No problem my accent is normally very good but 2 min time limit had Huge effect on it :D just like huge massed Earth has on small massed materials. Take Care man! :D
i really dont think that such a risky type of experiment would be carried out on ISS.But your idea is still very nice.....best of luck!!!

Amazing idea.. but I doubt this could be performed on a small laboratory on the ISS...

Nuclear fission?? On the ISS?? REALLY???

le MASSE ne peut pas etre influencer par la graviter, sais le poids qui est influencer par la graviter !!!

1. No, it will have absolutely no impact whatsoever.
2. A controlled fission reaction on the ISS? I wish you the best of luck.

@KucheySamir Even in earth the fission is done with wall as thick as 700m and you are telling the same experiment in ISS.?

gravity does not effect mass it effects weight(mass * gravity)

More positive news:
You demonstrate your ideas very well, and this idea is quite enticing to my science appetite! :)
I think that your project is one of the better ideas, and if you expound more on your idea, you have a very good chance of winning...
