This is such a great video. Thanks for it. :) I'm heading to Playa del Carmen in November to get my CELTA certificate. I'm hoping to then spend a few years teaching in Mexico. I'm so fascinated with the country. :)
I'm glad I found your video. I'm very interested and would like to know more. I called the number above, thanks for that. 5 months is the best length for me right now. That is really driving my decision. Had you not said that, I would have kept going. Good information.
Thanks for sharing Jennie! I have been wondering about what teaching in Mexico would be like and thanks to you, I have made my decision to teach English there! Your information has been so helpful! Muchas gracias!!!

If you decide to relocate overseas to teach ESL, one of the easiest ways to ensure you are prepared is to get your certification. This tells potential employers you are prepared and serious about teaching, and that you are taking employment with their school seriously.
We also offer specific country information on our website, including the requirements to obtain a job in Mexico.
Hi, i'm 32 and lived in Mexico City for 7 months in 2007. I miss it so much! I never did any teaching then but I would like to the next time. I don't have a TEFL or any experience however. I'm English by the way and I have free accommodaton already in Mexico. I wonder if I could ask you some things?
What is your game plan to teach a beginner , I am a US Native and I live in Mexico
