What a bunch of crap propaganda. Of the 17million acres on the Tongass only 3% have ever been open to logging. I've cut timber on Prince of Wales, where 4 out of 5 trees were rotten pulp. Pulp, hence the name Pulp Mills. No, logging is long gone in southeast never to return. Without the logging road, you wouldn't be able to access any of Southeast Alaska.
Hope you greenies are happy, and I hope a big friggen, rotten Hemlock falls on your car while you drive through the "pristine" forest.
We need Bobby Kennedy Jr. to be Secretary of Agriculture.Get this "lumber companies can't possibly stop chopping down trees until they're all gone" mentality thrown in the garbage bin, where it belongs.
