in real professional flares they use magnesium/teflon/viton called MTV flare (: dont ask me where to get viton, i dont even know where to get teflon, where you got your teflon from? if youre interested in MTV flare i can find the ratios
hm... is there nothing that contains viton? and what contains teflon? im a psycho with that sandpaper xP im also trying to find some glasses that has titanium in xD haha but do you know if its possible to get/make viton and what is it used for and.. is it reactive with magnesium or something like that?
teflon and viton are fluoro-polymers i doubt anyone would be able to synthesize any of them unless they had very sophisticated equipment. the only place i found teflon powder was online chemical supply stores. Google "underground gadgets", they have a bunch of good stuff plus the owner is a great guy.
How fine was the magnesium? I see the Teflon is 10 micron, but I was wondering how fine the MG was.
Also, was this just loose powder? Or did it have some sort of binder? If so, what kind?

I can get viton but its about $60 a gallon. So I just used 10 micron teflon powder.
