@TR3NT15 it's kind of like your rebirth to society, as a member of the organization that you've chosen to pledge. your letting all of your campus know who you are, and that you've crossed the burning sands!! the probabte is one of the best moments of the whole pledging process! as far as your other question, I've never seen any other do it.. I would say yea, only those pledging do probates.
@midorian12491 only someone who isn't Greek, and or your the person who experienced the booing, when you came out would make that stupid comment!! thats your opinion that probates aren't cool, so okay, cool. all probates dont have people booing, and not cheering etc; at the end of the day, really would I care if somone didn't cheer for me, when I probated, NO- I didn't pledge and go thru the process for those people, so who cares if they boo and dont clap.
@kysfinest i never crossed but my homeboy did, so im speakin from his expierience when they just didnt cheer for him.. it was kinda embaressing, because every remembers when he got boo'd. I understand you dont care what other ppl think, but still that hurts man, especially all that you have gone thru and ppl wont cheer for u when its ur moment in time.

So your moment is erytime you put on yo letters, b/c your always being watched.
@kysfinest well enuff bout his experience.. what if u kno generally a few people and is well respected within these ppl, would they cheer u on, or would they only cheer for a little bit and stop? Im well aqcuainted and respect with almost everyone at my school but i had a fear of gettin boo'd
what exactly is a probate? do people who are pledging only do this???
