Hey anyone tell me how to convince my parent to get my lip pierced, all my mom says is no, I ask why, and she always says because, and my dad just says no, with same reason or because u don't need it.... But can anyone give me advice on convincing my parents on getting a lip piercing please and thank u if u do.. Btw I'm 15
@UnknownDevil1000 you could make a deal with them like saying you'll do more chores if they let you or you'll do better in school and raise your grades that tends to make them say yes :P

They think it's an impulse thing and plus they want you to succeed in life (ie, get a job, do well in school, etc) and they probably feel like getting a lip ring will prevent that because people will pre-judge you for it (trust me, it happens to me all the time!). I would wait until you have a job, are a little bit older, and can afford it on your own
@SkaterGirlETC When I got mine he didn't use clamps at all. It hurt a little, but no more than a needle going through your lip should hurt. ;) No blood or anything either, which was cool.
It's not that bad! If you find the right place, its like a little pinch. Cleaning it afterwards is a bit of a pain though, you have to clean it with warm salt water for 3 months, twice a day
