  • It's wonderful, Love the idea

  • won`t the pomegranete go soggy?

  • Actually all I did is cut it along the areas that stick out a little, core the top, and pull it apart. Didn't bust not one seed, and it was my first time opening one. :D

  • I just take a section of the pomegranate, and peel back the membrane, and pop the seeds out. Simple. I don't worry about a little juice getting on my fingers. Why go through all the trouble with a bowl of water, straining, etc, when you can just take off what you want and eat it?

  • I'm eating a bowl of pomegranet seeds while watching this :P , best fruit ever!

  • Staining your fingers - First World Problem.

  • pomegrantee is very beautiful fruit and has a wisdom and cleverness how it was made, is what God can make, but what human made is cultivate anything to grow bigger and more but taste very bad.

  • Most annoying fruit, but beneficial :L

  • Thank you for the tips. I like to drink pomegranates juice.

  • this is good but half of c vitamins going in water

  • 23 people have never tasted a pomegranate...

  • Wow, thanks a lot!

  • derp

  • this is great, plus she´s super pretty!!!

  • Some of the great juice get's lost.

There must be a better solution.

  • MOST ANNOYING FRUIT EVER

  • She's so cute

  • cut the fruit from he half of it and then hit the back side from any spoon its a easy method and simple.... from this method of mine no seeds burst ....

  • very bad method of urs....

  • im eating the most delicious pomegranate ever right now. easiest way is just to peel off the outside skin. the sections just come apart after that and you can eat it off the sections without picking it all off

  • This isn't how you do it, i'm from Israel we eat these all the time...Cut it in half and hit the back with a spoon and they fall out perfectly...

  • This is still SUCH a PAIN to do! What about the spoon smacking method?

  • @shockedj98 yeah i was joking. ocd is just a personality trait.

  • u can get out of the kitchen

  • why in water? u can wash ur hands later :s

  • @keeper123 it helps the separation of the seeds and membrane and doesnt squish the seeds of it's juices :S

  • this is a tip? plz..

  • There is an easier method. You can skip the hebrew, he just says that white ones are generally sweeter.

  • I don't think this is any easier or less messy than the classic way...

  • i never had this fruit..

  • @xeeloveanil:

(clutch the pearls) You've never eaten one??? For real??? You gotta get your hands on one. I eaten one every fall since I was a little girl!

  • @SpankRamen2 apparently they don't sell it here in hong kong...

  • @xeeloveanil:

Really? I wish I could mail a big box of them to you. I used to think HK had everything.

  • Wow do people really worry about the tinniest problems like this? A pomegranate stain on your fingers?? Cmon, it ain't gunna kill you.

  • @MissTB91 Yeah, I'd rather have the stain on my hands which I can wash off than waste extra time and effort to get a bowl of water for no other reason.

  • @MissTB91 Obviously it wont kill anyone. It's just easier this way. Calm down.

  • @MissTB91 1.It takes a lifetime to seed it

2.Yes,the stains are a bitch. You get it on your clothes,it stains on your table ,and after it staining on your for example fingers,it gets dry and irritated.

3.after eating it you cant eat really anything for like a few hours ,cus the taste afterwards is awful

4.Lets say you just changed to a pair of white socks. An hour before you ate pomegranate.A few seeds popped out and fell on the floor(THAT ALWAYS HAPPENS!-.-) ,you step on it.There went your socks

  • lobsterkiller. ^^

  • Most annoying fruit to eat.

  • @Beatelectrico But the most rewarding

  • @Beatelectrico but the best tasting fruit ever

  • @Beatelectrico but one of the best!

  • @Beatelectrico I agree!!

  • you're hot

  • Whats wrong with breaking one open and ravishing it with the mouth? Works every time for me. Yukyuk. And tskes only seconds.

  • only problem with this method is that the seeds get waterlogged. Compare a pomegranate seed that has been underwater and one just pulled from an un-submerged one and you'll see what I mean. the flavor of the pomegranate is so much more intense

  • Actually there is better way without use of the water.

  • I just feel like to stuff that all in my mouth <3.<3

  • Underwater! GENIUS! She must have watched The Goblet of Fire before doing this.

  • Nothing's impossible, baby. Nothing

  • pomegranate are awesome

  • Hmmm it's a lot easier than that if you wait for the fruit to ripen :-)

  • Who agrees that they would laugh if she droped the pomegranate and went on a rant randomly cussing and stabbing at things on the counter since women can't have road rage they can have kitchen rage.

  • revnu2 i sen your video hammering away with a spoon your an idiot bro an idiot do you think people have time to hammer away like that ?

  • why are you stealing the ide this was a old test with some else ide

  • Just planted my pome trees yesterday^^

Wonderful and Angel Red - can't wait till I can have these every year! I hope mine grow that big that one is HUGE!

  • i ate an entire pomegranite seed by seed.... i feel stupid.

  • @gamerman001 i did too dont worry its fine --.--

  • you are diluting the seeds, this is not effective.

  • @Rrumiiii diluting the seeds? Doesnt effect the seeds at all or no loss of vitamins...its like a grape...you dont lose or dilute a grape by washing them do you?

  • My methode is better :P

    youtube.com/watch?v=-4jv8wB4cDk

  • sadly, this way most of the juice is lost in the water. Most health benefits are in the juice..

  • Delightful! Natalie Portman's big sister!!!??? lol

  • i learned that if you put any fruit like Pomegranate and strawberries in water they lose its nutritional value....

  • sorry, don't want to promote my own video but there are two things wrong with this method:

    1. all the juice from the pomegranate is wasted in the water

    2. cutting from the middle of the pomegranate cuts open seed that don't need to be cut open

search: "How to seed a pomegranate without making a mess" in youtube for the alternative method

  • @jfig34vno That method was EXCELLENT!!! Thanks man.

  • Meh, I just like to carefully work out all of the seeds. The water makes them lose some of their flavour >:

  • OKay its easier to get the seeds out in water...but you'll lose the flavour. :S

  • Very useful! Thanks so much!

  • I seeded a pomegranate in forty minutes without popping any seeds with my bare hands. My greatest achievement ever. Also I eat the seeds.

  • I watched this while eating pomegranate.

  • will you lose the juice or flavor under the water? please answer back :)

  • @BurritoGirl912 You won't lose the juice in the seeds, nor the flavor.

  • I tried this for the first time just a few minutes ago. AWESOME. Thank you!!

  • genius. freakin genius.

i KNEW there was some trick to it!

  • 1:22 is that a person groaning in the background?

  • FREAK FRUIT!!!!!

  • Um chuck norris can open a pomegrante with his hands without breaking a seed

  • I didn't like that way ..

u can just tap on the pomegranete half with a woodeb spoon and all of the seeds fall

  • looooove the fruit! my favorite<3

but soaking it in water and all that.. wont it lost the taste kinda?

  • @ShucksItsLilly As long as you dont smash the kernels or let them soak for a long time they will be just as flavorful as any waterless method. Of course if you use a Pom like the one in this video it will not have much flavor that poor thing looked sick...

  • please marry me

  • that looks so nice not one popped seed

  • what does it taste liek?

  • @rabbiteh Grenadine.

  • the fruit is so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cool

  • I do this the same way.

  • dam i should have thought of this nice job :D

  • xD i should try this :]

  • I am the master pomegranate seeder in my house lol

Everyone asks me to seed theirs for them, and I do it with pride hahaha

  • maybe they just dont want to seed it lol

  • most likely

    lol

  • @SKITTLESANDMNMS so cute. i just cut the pom in half and beat the seads out with a heavy spoon...

  • I just put it in a plate and cut it in half. It saves you a ton of effort.

  • It appears their is a trick for everything.

  • they are so good, and such a pain. lol

  • w00t my favorite fruit!

  • pomegranates seeds are so pretty lol

  • and all these years ive been makin a fool out of myself tryin to eat one of these.

    Thank you, Great video.

  • yum!

  • Brilliant... I feel like a fool now.

  • @betterdropdatdonk You shouldn't!! Because now the seeds will be all watery and it will ruin the taste fom the beginning!

  • ^_^ should of learned this awhile ago xD

  • Excellent suggestion. I'm passing this along to a few cooks who love this fruit but can't stand the mess. I personally think the whole messiness is part of the fun of eating pomegranates.

  • sipak

  • brilliant idea!

  • @terrymonkeymoo when ever your hands are stained usually it can't wash away with water immediately..

  • Wash off flavor. No thanks.

  • i shall try this. it looks very helpful

  • Yay, pomegranates...
