I was told many years ago that my overbite would cause me great pain in years to come. I thought I had sinus infections but was told by a ENT that he thinks I have TMJ. Recently, I had Vertigo and I suffer from constant congestion and pressure on my frontal face along with headaches. If these are indeed symptoms of TMJ, can your treatment help me.
@TheCocapuff123 i am going through 2 implants coming out and they think it is a sinus congestion. i never had this before and now another ent doctor says he thinks its tmj.
i live in ft meyers, fl--how can i get help to correct this tmj situation?
@cactimargie Your Temporo-Mandibular Joint is made up of 2 bones with a disc. Your teeth are connected to your jaw. The angle of your teeth changes when the roof of your mouth gets compressed due to accidents, infections, or stress. This therapy moves the Temporal bones which are part of your skull. They are the most solid part of the TMJ. Restoring the position of the Temporal bones removes the compression of the palatine suture and changes the angle of the bite. Dr. Jim McCarty 817-448-6680
did you get help?
