This really was the golden age of kids' television. I could watch these promos forever if this video was longer. PBS really made the world exciting for me when I was a kid, and it showed that there's no limit to learning and fun.

Seeing Sherry Lewis made me sad because I remember when she died when I was a kid, and her show was one of my favorites. =(

Yeah, i too miss the p-pals! I remember when i would come home after nursery school and tune in to awesome shows like barney, arthur, sesame st., magic school bus, wishbone, puzzle place, lamb chop, zoom, etc. I'm a freshman in high school now and i'd give anything to bring those days back.

Sometimes I think ALL OF US are to blame for shows on PBS Kids not being as good as they were in the '90s. Why? Because we don't give them enough money through those pledge drives you might find annoying. So if you want better kids' shows on PBS, get off your butt and get to the phone.

See, THIS right here was classic. Great shows, P-Pals were the perfect pbs kids logo. But it all was ruined in 1999. They got rid of the P-pals and good porgramming like magic school bus, bill nye, puzzle place and the list goes on. I would give anything to go back in time 1 day and relive all this.
