Hey, I was looking into purchasing this but it says on the website that its worth 600.00 dollars, is that with out the student discount? Or is that how much it is?

@Glowb0t Hi there well i took the make up class a while ago, I think this quit is one of the old ones, i am sure you get the kit, from my understanding MAC has change their kit... when I bought this one there was only one kit.. but i am sure you get this case in the new kits... hope this helped

@PenniRockx hello there, they only offered the kit to the qualified schools, the list is on the mac site, if the school you are attending qualifies they should have the forms. the kit is $ 425.00 with s&h and it includes the 40% off,

@PenniRockx that link doesn't work you have to call the 800 number...i am in school and just ordered the basic color kit....it's amazing i have a pic of what i got but legit there was way to much to get all in the picture!! the kit she shows they don't sell anymore or the colors have changed because i got an e-mail with what's in the kits and none of that was in mine and i had a ton more too

@PenniRockx you have to call the 800 number on the mac website and they give you all the info and then you need to email an artist and they will send you the link of whats in the kits...there are more than one i believe there were about 5 different kits...mine cost me 650 bucks but it was totally worth it!!

Do you find that you use more of one color of foundation than the rest? Would you recommend getting all 5 colors for your own personal freelance kit?

Yea I would definitely recommend you getting all five colors for your kit if you are freelancing, because you never know what color skin you are going to work with. I never just use one color.. sometimes I even have to mix colors so i could get the right tone..
