His wife, also a close friend, died 10 months ago due to cancer and she is finally home with her husband :) my mom has been struggling with her spiritual life and she has been so angry at God. She quit going to church and she is a train wreck. Please pray for her and Chris and Julie, the couple who passed away, family in your prayers. They are finally home :)

this is song is just so touching every single time I listen to it. There has been so many troubles in this lifetime that I thought about giving up and backing out on God for good. But then this song reminds me that God wants me to come home, like the Prodigal Son story in the Bible. God wants His children back but gave us the freedom to choose our own ways.

I'm sorry you don't feel the same. I was once where you were, I believed in evolution, I was never fully athiestic but I was agnostic, on the fence. I searched and debated and thought, but the thoughts were empty and hollow. I felt hopeless, so I repressed the feelings.
Then I found Christ, experienced his love and mercy, and now I have life. I hope you find Him one day.

His wife, also a close friend, died 10 months ago due to cancer and she is finally home with her husband :) my mom has been struggling with her spiritual life and she has been so angry at God. She quit going to church and she is a train wreck. Please pray for her and Chris and Julie, the couple who passed away, family in your prayers. They are finally home :)

Thanks for posting this song and the lyrics. My dad passed away on May 28, 2010 at the young age of 58. I listen to this song and it makes me want to see my dad again so badly. But I know he finally made it home and was able to wrap his arms around his daddy's neck and tell him that he missed him. And they are both walking and talking with Jesus even now! I'm so hopeful to see my dad and grandad again one day... most importantly my Saviour Jesus Christ!
