Sorry to keep bothering you but i have one more question. Like i said i have the exact same car, mine is 0718 out of 2000 but i dont have the navigation in mine. Did they just start doing this towards the end of production? In any case i still love the thing.
@141nw21strd I'm not sure it was towards the end of production because my model has the nav system but there seems to be a built in phone system/onstar/AAA system as well. Mine doesn't have it though so my nav screens have the phone icon grayed out. I'm guessing it's just options from the factory. Btw, ever get your burning smell figured out?
@metsu962 I still have no idea where it would be coming from but i havent smelled it since way back in the summer. When i get back from a good day of driving i pull it in and lift the hood sometimes and dont smell a thing. I"ll keep an eye on it but there is enough warning lights and censors on that car that i'm sure it would let me know when the smallest thing goes wrong.

Since I was only smelling it through the AC and strongly when I came to stops, I figured it had to do with the emissions system vapors or whatever. Under the hood I could smell where it was coming from. Body shop forgot to hook up the hose running to the purge sylenoid for fumes xD

Maybe it's just something dripping on a hot piece under the hood. I guess I would suggest stopping the car quick and trying to get your head under the hood smelling for it. @141nw21strd What kind of burning smell? I had something close to that once but it was the body shop's fault. They forgot to connect a hose correctly to the purge sylenoid so I would smell fuel fumes through the cab of the car if the AC was on whenever I came to a stop or took off.
I will do a video when I get my car! But ya man, Your charger when your 60, it will be like the scene in the movie where the guy goes to the garage and rips the cover off the classic car! thats what im gonna do when im 60 but it will be a 2010 GT mustang, mint condition haha
@metsu962 God, $25K was what I was hoping for. However I did see how thier are only 2000 units :'( Might as well look for a 2009 Charger R/T but 2006 Charger R/T Daytona is smexy and I don't want a junk car for $900 Y' know?. I hope to finish college and get a good job that'll get me $25K-$30K in about 1.5-2 years fulltime :)
@Shadesdeath Yeap. When you are done with school and you eventually start looking, I'm sure you can find one for about that much. The only thing I have to say is missing on the 06 is the 'eco' light for when the engine cuts to 4 cyl. But that's minor, just would like to know.
Buying a daytona of 2000 made has it's drawbacks. My friends are tempting me to put some bolt ons to it but it's a limited edition and I'd rather not....but so tempting sigh hehe.

@gyhighway hehe, me...I average 17-18mpg. I keep thinking for one full fuel tank I am going to baby it and see what the MDS does for me but that usually never works. Overall average on the next fuel up I've gotten up to 22mph. Haha, I actually uploaded a video of the fuel economy. Check my other vids

dude!! i fucking love the Dodge charger daytona series! i almost got the same damn car, but it was yellow. and i decided one a dodge ram instead. (mainly because it was hitting winter time, and i didnt wanna crash that beautiful thing)

I've driven it this entire summer and I've had absolutely no problems with mine. Some people say replace the tires and brakes but mine have been perfect. Only stipulation I have is when I washed it really good for the first time, the R/T badge's paint on the grill started to peel. But I went to a car show and found lots of replacements :D
I didn't really have big problems with the tires, but they offer really poor ground adherence compared to other tires. I realized that after I changed them and got softer summer performance tires (Eagle F1 Supercar). It's really a huge improvement over these all season crap rubber... ;-)
For polishing and care of your stickers, you can find nice products by Flowey. I almost only use those.
Gooosh I wish I'd hurry up and turn 16 so I can get the 5.7 Police Package Charger which I what I really want they are fast as hell to, I rode with a sheriff's deputy two months ago and we were going after somebody and that charger would get up and go like lightining but I don't know where to buy the police ones at.

Nice car, bro, congrats!! Myself being a Charger Daytona owner, let me give you only 3 advices:
1. Get rid of these tires, they suck!!!
2. Start looking for new (better) brake rotors and pads
3. most important: get a Predator from Diablosport, it will really wake up your car!!
