The problem with identifying as "modern orthodox" is you have the conflict between what we believe -that the Torah encompasses everything -yet you want worldy stuff too. Movies/art/ and straight talk and having to defend it. I don't however agreen that frummies are "in the stone-age" but they do tend to look at more "secular-minded" types as spacemen.

I never really met any girls from Haftar besides my cousins- who frummed out after graduating- so I wouldn't know- but it is Long Island so I assume the JAPiness prevails.

strapless dresses in a orthodox shul? No matter how modern, I've never seen clevage and strapless dresses in a orthodox (or even conservative) shul.
