People need to realise that Glen Jacobs didn't like the long hair. It was only because of the masks and his job, that he KEPT his hair long.
Glen wanted to shave his head and since he and Vince agreed that Kane ought to unmask, he was also able to get rid of the hair too.
The wig was a one-nighter, only worn on the night he had to unmask after losing against Triple H for the World Title.

@x33mmm Dude, did you actually watch The Faction Unmask Kane 6/12/00" and "Kane vs Undertaker (SummerSlam) 2000"? Then watch "Kane vs X-Pac 8/4/02", and hopefully that'll prove my point. Cos right, look at him at the beginning of "Kane Unmasks 6/23/03 (1/3)", then look at "Kane Unmasks 6/23/03 (2/3)" from 0:08 - 0:19, and you can clearly see that that's a wig, and his hair in the first one is real. Final question - how do you actually know his hair's been a wig all along? Enlighten us, please

@x33mmm Yeah, it may LOOK curly to you my friend, but it was actually his real hair, and please, when do the WWE ever use advertising tricks - Glenn Jacobs has always played Kane from the start, there is no real proof that he was ever played by someone else anyway, so just accept that he's always been played by Glenn Jacobs :)

@fh154wv ..to add, there's proof, dating back to 1998, that Kane's always been played by Jacobs: the PowerSlam magazine Issue 62 features an article about Glenn Jacobs taking on the role of Kane. Which includes pictorials of him masked and unmasked, as well as a mention of his roles as Isaac Yankem and the fake Desel after Nash jumped to WCW.

Kane was a bitch back then, I like the Kane from 1997-2001. He was badass in those days. Unmasked Kane is alright I guess, he seems more angry and diabolical without the mask but nothing tops the Kane from the Attitude era.
