i see skid at the old club noreik on the corner of 7 sisters rd + tottenham high rd in 69-70....about 30 people in the audience of the tiny hall...loads of people on stage,u couyldnt tell who was who..phil lynott could have been there for all i know...did skid do the roundhouse, chalk farm?
I used to see Skid Row at the Wake Arms in Epping, they used to be great at the Country Club Belsize Park too. What a Band, always knew Gary would be one of the Great Guitarists.Fantastic to see them perform again even on film.
I don't want to rub it in Steve but I was at that Derek and the Dominoes gig! Also I have great memories of Skid Row and many others that played at the Roundhouse, my mates and I used to travel up from Southend in those days!
Ah the memories! I used to go and see Skid Row in Dublin at the National Stadium and they gigged regularly at the Countdown Club - our favourite haunt. Around 73 I roadied for them for about a year - after Gary had left for fame and fortune. Life in a transit van and getting paid in bags of 50p coins!
Used to see Skid Row in the CY in Fairvew - loud? you could hear them over on the Malahide Road. If you rememebr the Countdown, uou probably remember the Revolution, the River Club and the Ace of Clubs among others - I used to play in all those places in the early seventies. Interesting to hear this guy talking about Epping and Leytonstone as I live over that way now.
Does anybody remember what date Howlin' Wolf played at the Dagenham Roundhouse?

There are, just search for Skid Row Gary Moore, so as not to confuse with the current Skid Row.
