hey maybe one of you can answer my question. I know mikkel left and rene is the new vocalist, but i never knew rene was in the band previously and I was wondering if he did backing vocals in albums before metamorphosis? they both sing so awesomely

@resistnonexist Rene joined after Hours and also did vocals on this album with Mikkel. However here he is just doing harsh vocals, whereas on Metamorphosis he sings too.

Rene proved himself as a very good singer on the new album, but 3:23-4:40 is why Mikkel will never be able to be replaced in this band.

my favorite melodic death metal band by far, scar symmetry used to be but until christian was replaced they just went downhill, bout time I found another good melo death metal band :) rock on mercenary!!

This song is amazing so much power inside it... i didn't knew about this one until some weeks ago, when i found this bonus track of architect of lies, it become one of my mercenary favourite songs, and my favorite in this album with Endless Fall

yeah very nice song. What i think is wierd tough is that Mercenary reminds you of BfmV. Mercenary is melodic death metal/power metal and bfmv is metalcore

im not sayin that bfmv is bad, their a great band, but mercenary and bfmv is pretty far from each other in the metal genre..
