As a Dutch citizen I've used more than my fair share of drugs. Sadly, I've seen many around me worse off due to them. Now I will not pull some hypocritical shit out of my magic hat and say drugs are bad, but they sure aren't healthy either.. In a country where weed is semi-legal and can be bought in shops, there are all to many people succumbing to weed induced apathy and psychosis. You don't hear about this much, because these people tend to shut themselves off from society. O & US weed SUCKS!

The only true reason why some drugs are illegal is because the Federal Government makes more money that way. There are people in the US government, including within the military industrial complex, that make too much money from drugs for them to ever allow their legalization. Their own legal/criminal status is indelibly tied to the drugs. If the drugs become legal, then so will they have to become legal... if they can quite doing all of their other illegal activity
