To YOU, it may be ugly, but to the Japanese girl who requested this look and sent me a picture and a video, this look is what is all the rage in her culture. She made a special request for me to show her how to achieve this look. You Tube is worldwide and thereby encompasses many standards of beauty, isn't that wonderful? The difference is the heightened poof at the back top, achieved by ratting. I'm happy to try a new look if YOU have a style you'd like to figure out. Thanks for your comment.

well, i don't think that what s/he meant was that the style was ugly. I have to say, even though I love the style, it sort of ended up looking messy and not very refined. It sort of looked like it was last night's slept in hairdo. Not to be mean or anything. I think it's cool that you're helping the girl out and teaching other people, but this wasn't the best hairdo I've seen by a long shot.

@FALLinLOVEwithME When does ratting hair become refined? I thought that was the way the hair was supposed to look.. @_____@ I like it, it looks more retro-rock 80's, than "Princess", to me, though. And of course, in my personal opinion, I've seen prettier hairtyles that tickle my fancy, but I wouldn't dare turn my cheek and say this wasn't one of the nicer ones that I have seen.
