I think there is a few reasons this scene was deleted:

1.) Boom Mic @ 0:11 & 0:23

2.) Stuntman with goggles @ 3:46

3.) No airplane @ 4:02

But other than that, THIS SCENE IS FRIGGIN HILLARIOUS!!! XD

@labellaviita Nah, if they really felt the scene added to the film they'd either have reshot the one bit, or done a pan and scan, or an alternate take, or just cut that bit. Most cuts of full scenes occur because they interrupt the pace, not because of a slight technical glitch. Look at Braveheart: that film is FULL of scenes where mistakes or crew or cars or cameras were left in.

Unless the D&J director actually said the boom mic was the reason for the cut. In which case, I'll shut up.
