  • @AfsAnehAfairytale I think so too. The Maxwell is a great piece. Thanks Rita :) -Michael

  • Not only that, 'Freen'- as with all of his best material, Jack adapted this into a filmed episode [February 4, 1962], with Jack's daughter Joan as the "receptionist".

  • Jack and the director Ralph Levy got into an argument over this casing for thisscene. Jack wanted his people (Frank Nelson, etc) to play the officers, while Levy overruled him and hired actors like Lyle Talbot. Jack didnt speak to Levy until after the show when he went into the control room and said "Ralph, I just want to tell you- it feels marvelous that I didn't have to tell you "I told you so!"".

  • @Freenbean lol yeah I just finished reading that biography about Jack by Irving Fein--it was awesome, aside from the crazy moments toward money and stuff in the business. I usually skip past those parts xD But now after reading that section I try to imagine how Jack's feeling throughout the whole thing in this segment of the ep.

  • @Freenbean Frank Nelson would have definitely been a better choice.
