If anyone actually bothers to click the link and see the finished portrait, he has a scar, is wearing glasses and has green eyes - and a wand, and his Hogwarts robes and appears to be in a castle. So stop complaining.

Whether the image in this video is more like Harry or Daniel is irrelevant - it's still bloody amazing to watch. :)

That's a crazy lot of adjusting! When I draw by hand, I get a line drawing accurate FIRST, then all I have to do is model. This way here seems as if you're constantly editing.

Well, when you do it like tat on youtube all you get to hear is that youre tracing a photo.

Your reference photo can be within shot of your camera, and you can either use the graph method to transfer it to your drawing paper, as some are taught to do, or you can draw it direct to paper as I usually do. An accurate outline of the reference photo isn't even half the work needed to bring the piece to life, yet is the most important part in my opinion. Once that's done you're free from adjustments! Those who imply that it doesn't take skill are wrong.

I think the nose is fine, but the lighter shading on the tip gives it the appearance of a hook. If you look at pictures of him with shorter haircuts, his forehead looks a bit wider. Still extremely good regardless (no, I can't do better... I draw stick figures lol)
