Trippi's comment about what will be in place (in this medium)for the GOP nominee really struck me. The only REAL online presence is Ron Paul and Dr. Paul freely acknowledges that his supporters get the credit for most of it. After the way Ron has been treated by his own party, I suspect that, should he not become the Republican nominee, that NONE of the others can count on benefiting from what has been built.
The Republicans other than Ron Paul haven't got a clue about debating anywhere other than Fox News. It seems they have a problem with spontaneous questions which haven't been 'filtered' for them. Sad really...
Sure, they look bad by not showing up, but nowhere near as bd as they would if they got hounded by question after question about Iraq, wiretaps, the environment, gay marriage. As in: All the things they don't want to talk about.
well the peope who would tend to vote republican I would imagine(not one myself), would tend to put environment and gay marriage as low prirority issues. In terms of Iraq and wire taps... well none of the candidates are not in office, so thats advantage for them... I guess...
He is actually wearing a suit. BOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Short pithy statements. Whoa re the candidates?

I can think of one GOP candidate that would do just fine in the CNN YouTube Debate...
Trippi kind of failed to note that particular web presence.

Hey, if I was them, I wouldn't show up.

We all know the Reps aren't even going to show up for the YouTube debate. Guliani has already said he probably wont go.

Better hope CNN filters the questions to give all the GOP candidates equal times.
Cause otherwise Ron Paul is going to destroy them.

I just saw this on Twitter. When will the GOP wake up?
It would be nice if there was some form of standardization as far as policy on getting the whole GOP ball rolling in this arena. It's scary.
