Now most mainstream/mainstreamish Tiesto style "trance" is 999% sidechained to sound like electro and melodies more bouncy... Imo. Ofc everyone can tell the difference if its minimal techno or vocal trance etc, but nowadays the differences are not that big since everything is blending together, pop and electronic..

And I kinda disagree, there's a really destinct difference between techno and let's say house.

But does it matter anyway? Soon all music will be electronic, people've spent years talking shit about the genres, and now it's everywhere in pop and rock.
