dude you should really do a review on the 845. i'm planning on getting one here soon. i would really like to see a review because nobody has actually done a review on it yet.
I fired my PT 845 for the first time today. I love the minimum distance of the trigger pull. The recoil isn't too bad at all. I hit center mass from 25-50 yards. I was able to make several head shots around 75 yards. This will be a must keep for me. My next weapon will be the Taurus 1911 AR.
I bought my Taurus PT 845 today. It cost $494.00 MSRP is around $625. I love the feel of this weapon. I like the three backstrap options that came with it. I can't wait to send some .45s down range. The only concern I have is that there were scratches on the chrome injection port. Is this normal? The weapon is new. It came with plastic wrapping in the weapons kit. I'm thinking that it was tested at the factory. If this isn't normal, I will call Taurus and use my lifetime warranty.
I'm planning on getting a Taurus 845 in about a month. I've never owned a handgun and only shot a .22 pistol just a few times. I am going to be learning alongside veterans, but I just wanted to know everyone's opinion...
Is this ok for a first handgun, or am I biting off more than I can chew???
this is a good gun I plan on adding it to my collection as a young marine the first handgun t ever fired was the m1911a1 in .45 acp that's been almost 30 years and I have been hooked on the 45 ever since. what it comes down to is what YOU are comfortable with shooting and what feels good in your hand best of luck with your purchase decision.
ei.. ive been reading all the post.. can someone give some comments on the new 800 series... also to the 24/7 series.. i really like to read some new post, comments, suggestions, and reaction...
photos and videos are really much appreciated.. thanks and more power
I bought one, I liked very much and it was a beautiful thing, but when I took to the range it did not wanted to go bang, trigger was stock and did not reset. I trade for a Glock 21. I only wished it went bang like yours. I hope it works out for you. I think it offered me two guns for the price of one (Glock and 1911).
What type of ammo were u using?

You need to learn how to hold a pistol. You are cupping the bottom of it in your left hand which is not accurate at all

15 shots? or the video was edited? 845 has 12round magazine capacity.
allanseth23 2 years ago
Yes, it is 12 round cap. There was an edit with the tight shot of the gun during firing....didn't bother to edit firing sequence.
