  • I absolutely love this song and am playing it for a piano competition. But boy can aaron play!

  • Whenever I give a demonstration of what ragtime is, I play this tune. I introduce it as the 12th Street Rag by Euday L. Bowman, but say it'll be recognizable if you watch SpongeBob. When I play it, the whole crowd screams"OOOOOOHHHHH!!!!!! I KNOW THIS!!!!!" It makes me smile to know that people are oblivious to the everyday ragtime they hear. They do the same with Redwing, Maple Leaf Rag, and The Entertainer.

  • I could swear there's three hands playing this :P

  • Wonderful performance!!! I wish I could play like him. I keep trying. According to my taste, it's the best !2th street piano version I've ever listened to. I think Aaron Robinson is the same pianist played jazz for the Charlie Brown series, isn't he?

  • FYI: This is not a recording of a midi file. This is an actual recorded performance by pianist Aaron Robinson from his 1992 CD recording "Ragtime" ~ it was performed on one of the very first Yamaha Clavinova CLP 123's ~ long before midi files were common and used ~ Look up his album: "Ragtime" on Amazon and iTunes ...
