Nothing wrong with the auto. If you really prefer a manual then fine but thinking you are somehow more of a man because you can push a lever with your foot while moving a little stick around with your hand is pretty hilarious. I would prefer the manual most likely but I like the Auto alot. Its great for traffic and when you really want to have fun its very responsive, its no Porsche PDK but it auto blips when your down shifting and believe it or not puts down the same WHP as the Manual but with more aggressive gearing so its actually faster... I have an Auto cause its mainly for the spouse :)

Gman192o.... Those are super cars that can't afford to loose any horse power or torque when shifting gears but any regular car like this car is better standard since u don't get the double clutch and the extra gear. So ur both right n wrong in a way.

@afgomar93 its more control over the car, you cant corner well with auto because auto isn't made to know when to shift to pull out of a corner it just waits it gets to the point thats set for it to shift regardless of the situation. Also a automatic car is generally viewed as a dumbed down shifting mechanic for women. Most car enthusiasts believe this and steer clear of autos and bash guys that don't.

@LOKUS11 it's funny that, I'm a manual guy, but the 7 AT is so quick and so much fun that after trying 3 manuals and 2 autos I bought one.. it's super smooth and for some reason the engine seems far smoother, no harshness and sound lush .. I'm loving it :-) I'd rate the Auto 2 points above the manual at least.

Contrary to what most people seem to think, I really like the interior of the 350z better. The center gauge pods in the 370z look like they were grafted on after the whole thing was done. There is too much stitching and unnecessary clutter in the interior. The worst parts are the steering wheel and the gauges attached to them. WTF was nissan thinking? That fuel/temp display is awful! And the look of the little buttons around the gauges is tacky. The head and tail lamps suck too.

You're going to have a hard time in the 370Z. The interior's too small. But I don't know about the 350Z though. You MIGHT be able to fit in there. You have more of a chance with the 350Z. I'd rather have the 350Z anyway. I'm fine with my 03 Brickyard Coupe.

hey i know this is late, and the guy under me told you there is less space on the 370z but thats not true, the car is physically smaller but the interior is actually bigger because they moved some things around. i know because i own a 350z and i recently test drove a 370z way more leg room in it. you should test drive it and see if its for you.

So they got rid of that stupid latch that covers the nav system? I see it in some pics but it doesn't appear to be there in this one. Maybe it's there is you don't order the nav system. Anyone know for sure?

You don't have the latch if you have the navigation, but if you don't have it's it's just an extra space, so yeah they put the door there.
