You forgot to say "if they paid their taxes." The tax rate doesn't matter because none of the big corporations actually pay the taxes they are supposed to pay. MANY OF THE MAJOR CORPORATIONS ONLY PAY 2% OF THE TAXES THEY OWE BECAUSE THEY HAVE TAX SHELTERS IN THE CARABBEAN. DO A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THE CAMAN ISLANDS AND THE SUPPOSED 18,000 COMPANIES WHO ARE HEADQUARTERED IN ONE MEDIUM SIZED BUILDING...ITS A MAJOR SCAM!!!

No you're wrong in a few areas. Where you are right is that corporations don't pay taxes. They just pass them onto the consumer. I've talked to buisness CEO's on flights, and they've said, that they would much rather be here, but the taxes are WAY too high. Most of them left in the 1960's. Also there is no such thing as a tax shelter or loophole. It's written in the tax code. So unless you want the price of goods to sky rocket, go a little easier on the coporations.

did you know that wal mart routinely fires employees months before they gain benefits from seniority? The practice is illegal, but wal mart employees are too poor to get a lawyer. If more then half of your workers want a union they can get it right this instant, this is a mischaracterization of the debate. Its not about a majority but how you form it; apparently the appropriate method (for important things like democracy, ala the secret ballot) is not suited for the Unions (13% of American workforce.)
