Great video I found this very helpful. Just one question why do you have to create a database? Can you use metasploit with out creating a database?

I am running latest version of BT5 and when ever I try create a database using this method or even using armitage I get errors. I have sql running and can create databases in there. Any idea? Thanks

Hey, quick question. I seem to be having an error whenever I try to use msfconsole. Whenever I type in "exploit" to begin it, it fails to do it and has the error "The following failed to varify: SESSION." what am I doing wrong?

@blackvenom665 You mean sort of like using DNS spoofing with Ettercap to redirect the victim to a page you're hosting with a malicious java applet that will try to spawn a shell on the victim computer?

I've tried doing something like that. I've gotten it to work on linux (netbook running SliTaz distro), but I haven't had success in WIndows (XP SP2) yet, well, when it comes to getting one to spawn while they have anti-virus software running. >_<
