I was referring to the so many milliseconds people save by typing in 'cud' instead of 'could' and so on.
I personally don't see any problem in people feeling always very very proud of themselves.

India can turn an athiest into a believer. Because the way things work in India are amazing. Everything just seems to miss each other in the nick of time. Many a time, I felt it was going to be the end of my life. But these bus drivers manage to avoid the cows on the road and the on-coming traffic. You just know there is a divine hand at work.

I think this is something strange and interesting that westerners find about India..all this crowd, jostling, pushing, shoving..I had the experience of traveling on a daily basis for three months by Toofan Express, a train known for its crowd and all the funny stuff that goes on esp in the general class.Now as I recollect it, it all indeed seems 'fun'.
