@duke3oh8 what do you mean especially if its a honda? look up the Integra Type R and all the people who get them stolen. the Mid 90's Honda accord is second on the "most wanted" list. the F150 is first. people WILL go thru hell to steal a Honda.
@Jx1x3 And you know? ....That's why for the 90s Honda, there are preventative measures to stop thieves from opening your hood. Like the Hood Release Cable Relocation and the hood latch blocking plate. Optionally, some locking hood pins. Stealth install a 2 way alarm and couple of sensors. Also, get Clifford Blackjax 5.
@Jx1x3 most thieves want to get in and out. theyre not going to waste time on trying to pop the hood and switch shit around, especially if its a honda.
The thief would have to know that where the sensor is located in your car. We also make one that uses no sensor on a Remote and another one that uses RFID technology that has programed key tags.
There is a way to bypass the system. It is there in case you loose or forget your key tag/remote or if you want to take your car to be serviced for a few days. Information is provided when you purchase the unit.
that would suck if u stall ur car in the middle of the road. u'd have to either swipe the magnetic key or find and push the button before u could start it again o.O
The RFID uses a programed tag specific to the module. New tags have to be programed to the module. The magnetic key tag uses regular magnetic key tags. The key feature of the magnetic key tag system is that it is not visible to people. Where the RFID system has the advantage of also been not visible to people but has a secure RFID tag. I sell these on Ebay, just search for TURBOKILL.
then this works only on automatic vehicles. as you said the strater is disabled but on stick shift you can fire up an engine without it. Just by pushing the car.
I actually came up with this idea because I was going to buy a regular car alarm for my car. But I noticed that car alarms, when disconnected, did nothing to protect your car. AND all car thieves know where car alarms are installed, under the dash. They just need to reach under the dash and cut the alarm wires, and presto! The alarm is disabled in less than a minute.
There is a way to disarm the system in a discreet manner in case you need to take it to a mechanic to have your car worked on. I didn't show it here, but there is a way to bypass it.
Yes, a thief could just use any magnet to set it off. The problem is that a thief would have to know it was there to begin with. I do make a remote control model that uses no switch, just a security code. I also make one that uses an RFID tag that is more secure but I don't have any in stock right now. As for the switch, you can use it anywhere. I've been able to trigger the switch through 1/2" plywood. The dash was just a suggestion as it is more easy to use day in and day out.
Hey you have a really nice device, im thinking of buing in the next couple of days, now is there any pros and cons that you can mention? Like is is possible that the thief could have is own magnetic device and can i place the sensor somewhere else like behind the cluster? thanks
Unlike a regular car alarm, when the wires are cut, your car will still remain protected. Turbokill is designed to work when it looses power or is disconnected.
It is called Turbokill Electronic Killswitch. It can be found on Ebay. If you can install a regular kill switch, you can intsall this one. It is much easier than a regular car alarm to install, but you still have to do a little wiring.
I have one of these and it works just like in the video. What's great about it is that there it's totally passive--you don't need to worry about a siren going off (which most people ignore anyway). There is NO way that a thief can get your car to turn off because he'll have no idea why the car isn't turning on.

No, it comes with instructions. You do have to do some wiring so you will need some wire strippers and general tools.
