This card set is a very imortant part of World War 2 history as it got the folks on the home front involved in the war effort. Where were these cards obtained? In ciggerette packeges or other products?
@bookcartpeddlerny Yes, they would have been issued in packets of Ardath cigarettes back in 1940. They're not as colourful as the the WW1 miniature recruitment posters but they have quite a lot of history behind them and would have played a important role in motivating people back at home.
