You'll notice that .hack// re-uses some of the TC soundtrack in their games. For instance I've heard that the Panta theme is re-used for the grunty and one time I download the song "High in the Sky" which sounded like a re-mix of the Map theme. Also the .hack// Game Music Perfect Collection includes TC bonus tracks.
What's interesting is that on CC2's site, they DO seem to be doing something with a Tail Concerto-esque world. Plus, they did some kind of public works thing with Fukuoka Prefecture involving characters which look similar to TC characters. Plus, for the .hack fans, on the CC2 page, on the page of that new thing they're making, you can see Kite walking around (And no, not his Azure version. The original). XD
Hmm..It sorta has that Mega Man Legends feel to it, when it comes to exploring and whatnot...That's all I can think of...It's a easy game, but I think it's still great. ^_^
Who were the developers? It feels as though it was one of those under-the-table entries to the US the way some games are when not many people know or heard about them.
Some computers or laptops may come with it. I know you can use Window Movie Maker to record, but I wouldn't suggest that. They aren't that expensive though.. >_>
No cameras....I use a TV tuner. So what I do is hook up my systems to my laptop so I play them using my laptop screen. From there I use a program to record the footage and use other programs to touch it up.
I recorded it myself. I had bought the game awhile back, and about a week ago I decided to try it out. I noticed that no one had recorded all the videos (in good quality) so I decided to do just that.
A great game, too bad that the PS2 sequel never came out.. :(
Was that SUPPOSED to make any sense?

This is the craptastic english opening. The japanese opening song is far superior, and beautiful.

Actually, the DS game looks to be a fusion of both .hack AND Tail Concerto. >_>;; Freaked out, I know.

Well, if it's more TC than .hack, I might have to try it out..I never tried the .hack games...

It's really hard to say... I mean, the page shows a TC-esque world, but it also shows Kite from .hack in the bottom right corner. Lemme post a link.

Interesting...
I know there were plans to make a TC2, and I'm sorta sad that they didn't make it...But who knows....Maybe one day, but I doubt it.. :(

Well I found a link on the official TailConcerto site which leads to something called Mamoru-kun.
There's not much information about it out there but it seems that it isn't exactly the sequel we're hoping for but it still looks fun.

I've been hearing about some sort game that could be considered a sequel in a way. At this point, I'll take anything I can get.. >_>

So, what's this game about? Is it a shooter like Strikers 1945 or another kind? When did it come out? This is the first time I've heard of it.
chaosgreyblood 4 years ago
It's nothing like Strikers... <_<

It was developed by CyberConnect2. In Japan, it was published by Bandai, and in the states it was published by Atlus.
