Originally, we were going to throw large Ice cubes in the shape of cylinders into the river to avoid any possible fines for polluting the water, but the Authorities Gave us permission to pour actual Soda as long as the activity was limited to just a few cans.

This Tea Party event was to Mimic the real Historical Tea Party of 1773 where the Tea was thrown into a Body of water, not at a Mayors Office.

frio109 - Agreed. The problem that our state and federal governments are having, is they are spending money they don't have and trying to make citizens pay for that. Every person has to live by a budget, so should the state and federal governments. The problem isn't not enough taxing, the problem is too much spending! Why can't liberal democrats understand this painfully simple concept? It's time to vote the democrats OUT in the fall elections coming up in only 10 months! Fire them!

3star2nr - A tiny quantity of carbonated water and sugar isn't going to pollute the river, no more than it would pollute your own body. Common sense. The point of the video is the massive taxes proposed by the tax and spend democrats, not soda.

But, there are also those who are in denial of truth and facts, to push their agenda. We can be guilty of that, too, at times, and must guard against that. Uphold the truth, facts and common sense. The Constitution is the law of the land. When Libs, Progressives, or whoever violate the Constitution and it's principles are breaking the law.

My point WAS about the Democrats.

And if the New Yorkers -- or, in my instance, Massachusetts residents -- continue pulling that "D" lever willy-nilly, then they shouldn't be so upset as they are..... its a matter of cause and consequence: You vote Democrat, you get taxed!!

Pouring soda into a river, a la a tea party, is not going to lower or cut their taxes..... show their anger and disgust by getting active and voting right!

That's what we're seeking to do in MA!
